Hi, My Name is ComradeChris or Chris and I'm a fledgling Marxist-Leninist

  • "But at what cost!?!?!?!!?!?!?" They say, that's the question!!!! How dare you not give them the answer they want!!!!1111111

  • Same here.

  • Agreed, the USSR needs more estrogen

  • I don't think that would've worked so much given the different material conditions of the Soviet Union to China.

  • Thank you for the tip

  • Understood. Also Stalin had his own ideas of reform like supporting arteles and cooperatives, continuing scientific development for ideology and major construction projects. As for computers, yeah definitely. I kinda like OGAS and maybe it would've been too visionary at the time but I think it could've operated as an ARPANET like equivalent in a way.

  • I actually have it and well, I should've tried figuring it out but I chickened out due to the economic parts and such.

  • Thank you so far. I've actually seen the documentary and it was very detailed. So far on number three, it reminds me of Stalin's autonomisation plan which was rejected by Lenin and others for it turning the Republics into autonomous states kinda like Russia's republics and retaining a more unitary model of the Russian Empire which Lenin feared would incite Great Russian Chauvinism. I have actually pondered if this would've helped alleviate the issues of Soviet federalism in a way albeit there's still some federalism in a way.

  • Thank you so far. I know much about how the USSR fell and such but this compliments the knowledge further.

  • Thoughts on ...? @lemmygrad.ml

What could've saved or changed the Soviet Union in terms of reforms?
