  • Stay safe.

  • So he is just doing dry runs for when he declares marshal law?

  • So here we have zionist western media saying there are 15000 Uyghurs living in Idlib. The entire thing about Wahhabism is that they murder/rape/enslave anyone who doesn't follow their brand of Islam.

  • The "free turkstan" movent is Wahhabist. Most of the active members left Xinjiang to go to Syria to behead "infidels" with Jolani and kidnap women as sex slaves.

There is no genocide. There was an extensive poverty alleviation program that included vocational schools and some re-education of radicalized extremists.

  • jesus. I thought there was bad egg in the admin team like a year ago. Now it looks like a full blown trot/fed infestation.

  • banderites

  • Don't watch Beau is Afraid. That movie had me squirming all the way through.

I don't know if it is a new thing or if maybe the genre is just getting more refined. Lots of those occupational reality shows like ice road truckers or deadliest catch were meant to be stress inducing but due to the quality constraints of using real people not actors and editing for story instead of writing it, they could only really hook into people who already had an understanding of the situation.

  • You should it dances back and forth between entertaining with its hyperbole and absurdity and then being excruciatingly dull with its descriptions of bureaucratic processes that make you want to pull your hair out.

  • Is it that bad over there these days?

  • The word you are looking for is "Kafkaesque." I've only read The Trial but he really nailed that feeling down.

I feel like living in western society at the moment is a mashup of 1984, The Trial, and Dr. Strangelove.

  • This isn't a ban on oil exports just refined fuels and it isn't abnormal. Russia limits exports of petrol to force lower prices at the pump during peak demand. They did this regularly before the war too.

    What!?

  • god damn. These people live in a world with no history and no object permanence.

  • Funny shit. "Hey bibi, pay your workers better. They are too easy to bribe"

  • I think it was also taken by naz-bols

  • As much as Deng is hated,

Who? where? If they don't like Deng I'll show them Tito.

I don't think a mixed economy is necessary but it sure was a good move for China in its time and place. I think that is the most important lesson to take from Deng. There is no answer that is always right. Each situation requires its own analysis.

  • It is a supply issue. The "shale revolution" is over. Virtually all the deposits in usa are tapped and ouput is going to fall steadily for the foreseeable future. Many analysts are saying that 2024 was the peak.

  • Oh fuck. my comment still stands but in a totaly different way.

  • Think more like a business man. The USA corporation's share prices are falling because production levels and assets have been shown to be less than their market value. So they are doing a merger with the much smaller Argentina LTD. It spreads the over-valuation to a larger area so that its a lower percentage even if the dollar value of the over valuation level goes up. This gives them a little boost to their holdings that changes their projected growth. (say usa has a real worth of 100 and has a market value of 200 and Argentina is really worth 10 but has a market value of 15 together their real value is 51% of their market value where alone usa is 50%)

(This is just a bunch of statistical and accounting tricks that don't stand up to real world analysis for even a moment but so much of the banking system is computerized that tricking the bean counters still works.)

Then through a series of loans and asset transfers that greatly benefit USA corp, Argentina LTD is stripped of all real value and pumped with as much debt as it can hold before it gets cut out from USA corp and left to go into bankruptcy.

This wont really amount to much revenue in comparison to the total value of USA corp but it is enough to keep them out of the extreme red zone long enough to plan their next move.

This is exactly what trump has been doing his whole life. He plays a shell game with banks. Hide the debt and show the banks all the things that he "owns" to justify the level of debt he has while hoping to land the one big deal that will pull his ass out of the fire forever. He leaves a trail of bankruptcies behind him but none of them can be directly tied to his main accounts. The issue is that he just builds a bigger and better shell game and there is never going to be a big enough win to save him which is why he ran for president. He took his personal shell game and wove it into the national one.

The usa was in the same position that trump was before he took office. Way over leveraged and all their assets had depreciated in fact while not on paper. (11 aircraft carriers sounds impressive until you realize they have decades long repair and refit backlog. The second largest nuclear weapons stock sounds great till you realize the missiles that are supposed to deliver them are 30 years past their due date) The billionaires elected him precisely because he is the best in the business at the shell game.
