The "21 point plan" has nothing to do with the current ceasefire. Hamas didn't sign it. Again go read their press release about the ceasefire. It isn't a "trap" for the resistance. They used the 21 point plan to force a prisoner swap and the entry of food.
A prisoner swap has been the primary demand from the resistance since day one. This was a capitulation to the resistance demands. While this swap is a minor walk back from the original resistance position of "all for all" it is only a minor step back as they are getting thousands of prisoners for 20 Israelis. You could argue that Hamas set a trap because israelis can't help but violate every ceasefire which will further discredit them in they eyes of the world.
The israelis are feeling the pressure from the international community and also from domestic issues not from trump. There is a massive amount of pressure in western nations to bring an end to the genocide.
