I have been more disconnected from the Ukraine War besides noticing that Ukraine is still pretty much getting wrecked in an accelerated fashion but I have seen two things that are interesting:
Apparently the Russians are starting to probe and get beachheads in the Kharkov region, with little to no resistance.
The russians are advancing in Zhaporzhye, were it had been at a standstill for months.
So in summary, bad news for Ukraine and NATO continue.
Don't have the time or interest to read the thing in full detail but it seems that there is a focus on 1. Establish an agreement that protects the European economy in critical services with special emphasis in 2. Protecting the European automotive industry.
There's other items there like working on IP and joint ventures as well as having Europe be a consumer economy to China's production.
If the tendencies are similar to what you see in Colombia, it would only cause people to become more anti-american. But that on its own doesn't make people less liberal or, god forbid, commies.
On the other hand, the anti-China rhetoric has ramped down, and, from at least what I can see, China is slowly being less seen as a country that manufactures cheap copies and is ever so slightly more respected.
It's a long process though.
Now, for people going full anti-imperialist? I think it will take the US directly attacking a country in the region. Possibly Panama or Mexico. But the loss in civil society support of gringo hegemony is definitely noticeable today.
As a Colombian, kinda sad that coffee is going down, but god DAMN it was getting expensive here, so at least good for me that I can get quality coffee for cheaper?
Should Iran blow that ship up?
