  • I don't know what else has been going on or what all is rumor, but if it sticks that his backpack being searched that had his manifesto and other incriminating things in it ends up being deemed an illegal search and becomes inadmissible, they may have very little evidence to go off of for prosecution.

  • None of your damned business.

  • Tort law is all civil and liability stuff. Generally monetary compensation against a person or business at fault for things.

So if you were to pay money to use a business at a facility with a gun and ammunition they allow, and a bullet goes through the wall that the business has in place to stop your bullet, is that your fault, or the business' fault? Obviously it isn't your fault the bullet went through the thing you were supposed to be shooting at.

Also, no contracts or liability waivers can supercede negligence on the other parties fault. For instance, if you go to a rock climbing gym and sign a waiver of liability, but then their rope snaps and you break your leg, you'll still be able to sue and win easily if they weren't keeping rope safety inspection logs.

  • Firstly, it's reported that the shots weren't from the gun range. Second; have you seen the overhead view of the range? What exactly do you think the bullets could be bouncing off of at that range? Your thought process is just silly.

  • Never implied it was.

  • They are. For vehicle use they'd only be worth a damn in small shorter range vehicles. Trying to shove one in a longer range or large vehicle would need the battery to take up lots of space and a large amount of weight, making it hell on tire tread life, and when a set of tires is $800 you're going to fuck yourself over (and the environment) when you have to buy a new set every 25,000 miles.

  • Cool write up. Ricochet bullets can't travel that far, and it's the wrong direction.

  • I know in my scenario under tort, the gun range or someone further down in the construction of the range would be found liable, and not the shooter.

  • ..... The part where a shooter is always 100% responsible for the bullet.

  • If you're defending\agreeing with Triumph, I don't think you understand tort law.

  • Nintendo was overblown? The switch launch units had a very large rate of drift issues within the first year. I'd call it fair to say that most of the launch version had drift issues. Most Nintendo hardware releases have no major flaws while "viewed under the microscope". I guess the switch 2 has a shitty screen, but it's not flawed hardware. The screens were made to be shit from the getgo.

  • Don't bother to comment out speculation if you haven't even bothered to read the article and watch the video. Like 30 bullets didn't ricochet 500+ yards away into a baseball field.

  • What if you're at a paid indoor range and your bullet goes through the back stop wall because the range cheaped out?

  • You aren't pulling 7 g's in a space suit lying horizontal with fifty thousand pounds of hydrozene fueling a giant rocket with no off switch when you're driving down the road in a car. Some situations are different than others.

  • Oxygen is so bad for you, too. It literally damages cells. I don't mean this ironically or anything else. It is physically bad for you to breathe pure oxygen.

  • By OP's spelling, I believe you must mean "rabits"

  • Don't forget about the part where she wore a diaper while driving so she wouldn't have to make any pit stops.

  • I made burrito stuff for lunch yesterday and made enough to get 3 meals worth. I pretty much always at least slightly bulk cook my food.
