The moment Game Pass wouldn't let me cheese the system and get it for like $1-2 a month, I quit bothering with it. I knew they were trying to get people hooked and raise prices. It was only like a year later and then even my friends canceled theirs.
I buy games heavily on sale, or sail the seas.
Luckily my gaming PC is more than good enough to ride out the next 5 years. knocks on wood. 5800X3D + 6800 XT.
For anyone else cross your fingers the GabeCube isn't too expensive $$$.
Me and some friends go to Lake Tahoe every couple of summers for a week or two, and going to Sand Harbor is the best day. Finding a boulder to lay on so that half your body is in the super cold water and the rest of you is in the sun is peak relaxation!
In case this helps, for me when I use it on Android TV with said TV's remote, the arrow buttons on the direction pad for anything require pressing play/OK button after. But if I use the fast forward buttons, it does seek and then just keeps playing.
It's because it has mmo-like mechanics. They said it's because they don't want someone to cheat and ruin things like global orders to free a planet. Ex: someone can cheat and clear missions wayyy faster and overly contribute to if a planet tbat the entire community is working towards liberating from the filthy Terminids.
