  • Why do you think a Mr. Rogers type person would be the ideal choice? That just leads to "we need to forgive and put this all behind us" type responses which drives even more unaccountability, more inaction, and leads to more problems. I think a Mr. Rogers type is the exact opposite of what we need in response to Trump.

  • I've never seen support material visually improve overhangs apart from the specialized support filament that doesn't bond with the print material. Traditional support always leaves a gap between the support material and the print material, otherwise they'd fuse together and become one with the print, meaning even with support, the print material sags anyway.

    OP would probably be better served with adaptive layers and using a much finer layer height in the overhang region.

  • Its probably also the fact that you're using flowery soap and shampoo at the same time which probably makes the smell seem much more intense than if it were being smelled against a 'neutral air' background. Kinda similar to what happens when you smell coffee beans between wine tastings or samples in a perfume/cologne shop.

  • There's also the possibility they're referring to the current draw through the mobo connector itself frying things. A couple of HDDs at 12V, 10W will be pulling almost 2A which can be a lot for some circuit board traces, but there's no great way know what the board can handle without documentation from the manufacturer or someone with relevantt engineering experience well above what a typical computer repair shop would have.

    If I were OP I would just roll the dice and try it out. Its not as if old Dell office PCs are high dollar items.
