  • We're talking about structural issues with how elections work and what it takes to win them, and you keep trying to insist its about the individual choices of individual commenters on an obscure social media platform. Its literally fucking maddening.

    Higher up in this thread:

every lib that voted for blue no matter who should be in the Hague along with the rest of the murderers

  • Lesser evil never leads towards better, it leads to worse.

Even more so with a greater evil.

Nobody is saying "settle for the lesser evil". They are saying it's easier to fight for progress against the lesser evil than the greater evil.

  • You mean some folks are okay with more genocide, as long as they pretend not doing the bare minimum to reduce the account of genocide absolves them of responsibility.

  • I'm going to blame the guy who tied six people to the tracks as well as the guy that didn't pull the lever. I'm going to blame the guy who tied them to the tracks a lot more, but I can blame both.

  • Everyone has lost, and there's more genocide.

  • I will need some proof for that to believe, thanks.

What proof would you accept? Do I need to list every single house that is for sale and rent within a certain area?

I'm not interested in your sealioning. You are asking for proof that you know is literally impossible to provide ("how do I know that is every listing?) and we both know even if I could provide it the goal posts would move to "just move somewhere else then" as if that is cheap and easy and readily available to everyone.

You are being disingenuous at best, or you are completely ignorant as you how unreasonable your 'argument' is. Either way there is no value in continuing.

  • You haven't been paying attention

  • Housing isn't a luxury, you can't just decide "prices are too high right now, I'm not going to buy / rent any of these places." What are they going to do, live out of their car until prices come down?

  • About to send a strongly worded letter?

  • I'm calling it here: Trump did not just rape a child. Everyone already knows that and he's still trying to hide the Epstein files.

Trump murdered a child and then raped her corpse.

Or there's a video of him having sex with Bill Clinton. Republicans would consider that equally bad.

  • Landlords aren't any worse than Chefs who are charging you to eat food, or farmers who won't allow you to just go take want you want of their crops.

Chef provided the labour and knowledge in preparing your meal. Farmer provided labour and knowledge in growing the crops.Landlord provided buying the property first then charging you for the privilege of living there because a piece of paper says it's his.

The landlord did not build the house, and any maintenance costs come out of your rent to pay for someone else to fix.

  • Every single thing you complained about there could be said in response to your original post saying "it's not free, it's paid by taxes".

  • Every accusation is a confession.

  • It was coded to never allow the first pick to be a mine.

  • Any diploma she gets is going to be fucking useless with her name forever tied to this story.

  • How many people "deported" already had legal paper work? Providing them with different paperwork isn't going to change anything.

  • Settle down Cassandra.

  • They don't consider it a crime if they don't believe the victim is a person.

  • For example, this post last month: https://lemmy.world/comment/21539323

I sent a new reply to that comment with a link to this article and they still replied "that's how elections work and you need to wait until November".
