I am quite literally not doing that. I am saying "we don't know so we shouldn't imprison it for our amusement" which does not strike me as a very extreme statement.
The stories I here about Octopi make them sound more like an intelligent creature we don't understand rather than "lots of creatures escape their cages to go hunting and then return before anyone notices. This is natural behavior for an animal."
Yes, the mind of an octopus is unknowable, and it could be just acting on instinct. It could also have some measure of sentience, and there is no way to really know. As such maybe we should err on the side of caution and not keep them in little pens for us to gawk at.
That makes me worry about how inaccessible Dota is.
The biggest problem for me with League was the items: There are far too many to choose from and I don't have time during a match to figure it out. So I need to plan what items I want before the match, but I can't be guaranteed to play the character I was planning on. So I need to preplan a build for 5 different characters before quing, and then deal with some of the most toxic people bitching all game anyway.
Something smart enough to recgonize the people, what they mean, learn their schedule, and understand how to decieve them, is something that should not be kept in captivity for our amusement.
When we take back this government, this will be the exact reason that there should be at least three seats added to the Supreme Court, and Clarence Thomas should be impeached, prosecuted and imprisoned, along with his treasonous bulldog wife.
You are long past "take back the government" at this point. The flaws in the system have been so blatantly exploited that it requires an overhaul to fix. Three more seats on the supreme Court just means a fascist needs two more people in their pocket to do the exact same thing that is happening now.
I don't disagree, it's just so fucking frustrating that people can scream from the rooftops for months/years that "this is bad, bad things will happen" and people will ignore them until it affects them personally or it affects a company's profits.
The problem is all the people starving, not Walmart losing less than 1% of their profits. But apparently that less than 1% profit loss is what people listen to. It's disgusting.
Each peasent can only pass the magnet once every 6s, as they can only do so on their turn.
Also, this is a universe with magic in it. A level 0 sorcerer can endlessly cast the cantrip "shape water" to move a turbine for infinite free energy. For less work (but more training) the level 2 spell "Heat Metal" can be cast on a boiler.
