I can imagine the Klingons having a kind of special forces unit where they do copies like this and if the copy makes it back, the two versions fight to the death to see who the "real" one is.
It would be interesting to have a series where they take the best of the best Starfleet personnel, intentionally copy them with a transporter, and stick them on their own ship to do an extra dangerous, super difficult mission.
Anyone remember during his first term when he had to be talked out of firing missiles into Mexico targeting supposed "drug labs"? This is the same thing but with a more politically acceptable target and fewer people to tell him no.
I watched the video. I'm not arguing that it is the same skull used by the Nazi SS. I'm arguing that specific skull wasn't created by the Nazis (here it is on an 18th century pirate flag)
and it wasn't used last by the Nazis (here it is on a US special forces patch used in Vietnam) .
The US military has used all sorts of eagles, swords, crosses, skulls, double lightning bolts, etc over the years that were also used by Nazis at some point. I just don't think it is reasonable to say he's a Nazi based on this tattoo alone in the absolute absence of any other evidence of any sort.
That link has like 7 different variations of the skull and crossbones that the Nazis used and that covers basically every usage by anyone ever. I just don't buy that he's a closed Nazi and it never came up in all his Reddit shitposting.
I heard the interview. The story about the tattoo seemed genuine and he chose to release the video himself. There's loads of skull and crossbones imagery in various US military insignia. I'm willing to believe him.
Edit: Looks like he got it covered up, so happy now?
If we want to go even deeper with the symbolism, the White House represents the power of the president and he is demolishing it in a shallow attempt to make it more grand.
Oh don't worry. Trump will fire up a new war with Venezuela just in time for the midterms. That will distract voters enough for him to keep doing whatever he wants.
I'm in the local SEIU. We voted to approve a great new contract they won for us, granting us raises for the next 3 years, more towards our health insurance, and a sweet new longevity bonus. We went right from the vote to the No Kings protest.
I heard someone make a good, frightening point. Trump has been a political force for over a decade now. There are a generation of young people who only know MAGA politics. To them that is normal. They've never seen a functional government in their adult lives.
You could always wear a respirator inside the suit. I have also been thinking of a way to upgrade the fan mechanism so you could add a layer of air filter. Then the whole thing would basically be a hazmat suit.
I was once paintballing against a guy wearing one of those puffy down filled coats. The coat made him almost invulnerable because the paintballs wouldn't break against them. They just bounced off. I have to think that an inflatable suit would work the same way with pepper balls. It's goofy, but also a great tactical choice for multiple reasons.
