  • Elbows off the table.

  • I believe they are referring to Jhaj.

It's cops talk for "we for some reason can't name the person you are asking about, but we are investigating a person who exactly matches their description.

Translation: "we wish to look like we are doing our jobs"

  • Emphasis on START digging. I thought that was a terrible article. All questions, almost no answers.

  • Careful, someone with bad reading comprehension will be posting tomorrow about the deep state Democrats funding biowarfare tick development to turn everyone gay/vegan.

  • I still do not understand what's going on with this.

    1. What is the end goal? Is he just sexually excited by hiring children to roleplay him being famous, or is the hope (for him. A terrible word obviously) that he will have some opportunity to assault or abuse one of these children?
    2. Where is the money from? This question should be what the cops focus on. He or someone is bankroling this bizarre behavior somehow. If what he is doing is illegal (which I also still don't know if it is??) then shut the money down and jail the people bankroling it.
    3. I just really don't understand
  • We are going back to pre-internet times. Like we will still have it, but finding the information we need will be impossible in the sea of AI misinformation.

When we were kids we would write down questions to ask teachers or the librarian or even my aunt who was a nurse. That's how we got alot of our answers. I think we are going there again. I think there will be small alcoves of reality on the internet, but they will be hard to find and then treasured, again like bookmarking snopes.com way back when a Google (or Yahoo?) search wouldn't necessarily find things unless you worded your question as an answer.

  • Thank you for your garbage take which lead to some informative discussion below!

  • How? How does an average American do that? If they want him gone he could be detained and shipped out long before anyone could gather to say "no please if you wouldn't mind not destroying democracy more than you already have...."

(Note I am not an American, but seeing the state your country is in gives me anxiety by proxy. What would I be able to do if I was one?)

  • Was it? If only some journalist would .... Idk... Do their job....

But that is at least a reason, thank you.

  • I commented on another post of this that I was lost as well. If it's a fake wedding, what was the angle? What was to be gained? What was illegal?

  • No they are not, not officially anyways. There is plenty of crossover, where someone who is officially part of a federal or provincial party will run for mayor, but those parties aren't involved and they have to step down from those roles to run.

I just didn't know America's 2 party system went all the way down to municipal. That's fuxked.

  • That was my thought "oh I don't know.... I'm not a new Yorker and have only vague indirect knowledge of Cuomo being shitty.... Glances at name

    "....I fully support Mowhatever."

Also I was today years old when I learned New York Mayors are part of a party? What's that about?

  • Sorry, maybe I'm mixing them up with some other nightmare of a company, aren't they out of business? Execs probably already secured all their extra $$$$ and this 2.3 will have to come out of what they get selling the office chairs, and probably before any employees get anything they are entitled to.

  • I was also visualizing the round analogue clock face, but didn't want to muddy the water by saying "twice" when I guess it's technically only once, just no am/pm delineation.

I am puzzling over this at work now. I guess a fast clock could be right almost infinite times a day if it ran fast enough, but a slow clock can only be as slow as a whisper faster than stopped, which would mean it could be right alllllllllllllmost twice a day, but never twice a day.

  • If it ticks faster than time than it would be right more than once (24hr time) a day, the faster it ticks the more times it will incidentally be correct (perhaps there is an allegory here..)

A clock that ticks slower than time would be right less than once a day, but it can never....

I feel like I need a simulator to understand this relationship actually....

  • I've noticed a theme with all these articles of ICE arresting people for no reason. Why isn't the officer being charged/disiplined? I'm assuming ICE isn't going to admit they gave these officers those matching orders, so what these officers are doing is just regular illegal shit. No journalist is gonna ask when the officer will face discipline? At all?

I'm well aware that ICE would hide their officers and do a "we investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing". But that's kinda the first step kids... Each and every one of these masked goons is commiting crime. Like regular old "assault" type crime. Not even mentioning this or asking for justice just gives them more power.

  • Me:that was uncalled for... Maybe Australian or something but still... Me: reads user name Me: "ah, a fine compliment."

  • Why is the thumbnail a baggie jeans butt with the body in a bush? What does this mean?
