There is a positive correlation between how often I post and how poorly my life is going.

  • An objectively peer-reviewed hyperbole.

  • No, but they're objectively the best pet. Basically a walking plant who's bffs with a hole in the ground and hunts crickets by staying absolutely still until it's not.

  • The title is accurate, but the article doesn't really provide explanations beyond personal anecdotes. The few quotes and concepts are gestured to, rather than used to build an argument.

The comparison to greenhouse gas warnings came out of left field since they didn't bring up any direct relationship between the two subjects.

It reads like they expect readers to agree with them.

Any argument about AI and consciousness should point out the difference between "true" AI and the LLMs we're calling AI, and how they work.

  • I'm convinced he's trying to see if there's a limit to how many mental backflips an audience can take before they start to reign him in.

But before Tenet there was Primer, and it was a cult hit.

  • That's absolutely true.

And one of the many reasons Hotel was the greatest season of American Horror Story. Everyone, but especially Evan Peters, seemed to be having the best time. It felt like good theater.

And, of course, every muppet movie.

  • It's pronounced however you want, baby.

  • Good movies are self-aware. Not everything needs to be a masterpiece of acting and cinematography, or have the best effects, or the best writing. But they have to know what they are. I don't mean breaking the fourth wall or self-deprecating humor. More like understanding their limits.

The people making Sharknado knew they were doing a campy action film (series) with sharks in tornadoes. Fun Movie. Would watch again.

    M. Night Shyamalan is a great writer and director, but a lot of his films have a feeling of over-dramatized self-importance, where it seems like he really wants you to know how clever he is. So they get panned.

Chrisopher Nolan (I think) puts similar importance on symbols and archetypes with a dramatic and artistic style, but his movies have a feel of like "I don't give a shit if you get it, just enjoy the ride." He makes good films.

  • It's a great song to have stuck in your head.

All the sequels came out far apart. If you haven't seen them yet, I'm excited for you to find out about the 30 minute grand finale.

  • As a general rule, all 'C's should make a 'Ch' sound and leave 'S' and 'K' the fuck alone.

  • That's what it seems like to me as well.

The last paragraph reads tongue-in-cheek, reminding people that Trump is going against the G7, against America's own policies, and did nothing to alleviate tensions.

He knows if Trump even makes it to the last paragraph, he won't understand it.

  • When was the right week?

  • Imagine if both parents could nurse, that would be awesome. Don't have to prep the titty juice and remember it every time mom's not around.
