About half the people working at the bottom level of my local library system (for less that $20/hr) have a Master's, all have a Bachelor's. It took someone I know 6 months to get through their hiring process to work part time....
Yeah, it'd be one thing in a jewelry museum dedicated to styles and methods of production, but its just "Look at how rich we used to be, lol we were wilding while the peasants starved"
Well, I guess its the game that allows them to actually win elections...which I assume is needed for them to grift well? Honestly not sure if who wins is important at all to anyone.
I mean...he does. That's the game, raise hopes for a candidate that will actually change things who gets into office and tells their hopeful constituents to piss off because "that's not how the real world works sweetie, grow up".
Supposedly, and I'd love to know if this is false, Bethesda didn't want to charge for it and were simply mass testing the DLC system. Microsoft were the bastards.
Cruises (a traditionally cheap way to have a "resort" experience and "international" travel) seem to cost $1100-$2000/person for a week. That doesn't include alcohol or anything you do on island, so you can probably add at least another $1000 if a family wants to "live it up", that makes a family of 4 cost $5500-$9000. The hotel at the beach closest to my hometown that we used to visit in the summer is $175 a night now, so assuming two rooms, $200 food budget per day, and another $500 for entertainment that gives $4350. Both of these are going to be cheaper than Disney vacations or Euro-trips. Obviously these vacations were never affordable for majority of the working class, except maybe once in a childhood, but just wanted to provide a few anchor points.
I really hope I live long enough to see somewhere on the globe make a 24hr work week the norm (4x6)
