  • Who is going to stop him? Congress aint doing shit. Maybe the courts will rule against them but who is going to enforce the ruling?

  • Counter idea, its to actually keep Republicans from resigning.

Current make up of house is 219-213. With 3 open seats. Lets guess dems take 2 of those, which they had before vacated. So now its 220-215.

With Greene retiring it goes 219-215 meaning you can lose 2 votes on any legislation. Tie votes mean question is lost.

If a slate of reps may retire at 4 retirees you see a power sharing agreement, and 5 hands the gavel to the dems. No one wants to be the last one out to give over the gavel. And if you read reports that a bunch of people might retire you might put yours on hold so it doesnt mess anything up.

Effectively this is telling republicans, we know you think getting out is good but a lot of you are talking about it and if you do we lose the house.

It gets even uglier if dems take all 3 open seats.

  • Article did not answer the most importent question.

Is the coach a drag queen, trans, or just a democrat?

  • Reminder that Joe Rogan is possibly the worst person from a sitcom that also starred Andy Dick

  • As you can see there is clearly a bridge between North Africa and Brazil on this map. Check mate

  • arrested him three times for nothing

    Spanish accent

    Pretty sure it wasnt "nothing"

  • Feels like its the DOJ stopping it due to on going investigations. Its the easiest way for them to show they made a "good faith" effort to get stuff out but showing nothing.

  • Option 3 I think is most likely.

DOJ just started new investigations into Clinton, JP Morgan, and others at Trumps behest. Once vote happens to release files DOJ says "Oops no can do with an ongoing investigation." Repubs look like they care and nothong goes public.

Its an easy win win for them

  • Look I just want to know what Obama was doing during 9/11. Why didnt he prevent the attack

  • Oh a court order? Glad this administration cares so much what courts think and order.

What is a court order going to actually do? Are they going to arrest people for defying the orders? Place them in jail for defying their orders? No? then those orders are a useful as the paper they are printed on.

  • Oh good a vote in the Senate. Fucking Mike Johnson will never bring it up in the house and you just traded away everything for nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Dems wonder why people have a shit opinion of them and its this.

  • Possible? Absolutely.

Likely? I dont think so. Stripping a person of citizenship because they are of the opposing party feels like a line in the sand. How do you defend that? At that point its over for America. Like pack it up and every person who is not a straight white christian should be looking to get the fuck out

  • Supreme court really out here like

  • Feels like a big mixture of "My dad can beat up your dad" and "my uncle works for Nintendo so I know all the secrets to Zelda" energies.

  • Honestly, I fully expected him to do something like pay out SNAP benefits to solid red states like Texas or Florida and deny them in places like New York or California. Then he would say "See we paid out what we could. If only Dems had opened the govefnment sooner you blue states could get your benefits."

He gives out to his base, and they can cheer how horrible he is to those nasty blue states.

I really dont know where we go from here.

  • I do not understamd his threat. They have already suspended funding for things in New York before he has been elected.

Also how anyone can be just ok with the president threatening funding in a major city because he doesnt like the candidate is fucking insane. I would say the press should ask every republican in congrsss about this, but they will all say they havent heard or seen what he said and then it will be forgotten in a day.
