Yeah, the judge reversed the layoffs and reinstated the Unknown Worlds team, and now they’ll get the bonus. But yes very awkward all around.

What do you mean if true? They went to court and produced the ChatGPT logs that Krafton CEO used to strategize how to get out of paying the bonus.
With Paramount and HBO now consolidating they’re gonna need another name. ParaHBWBDISC++ perhaps?
They could at least put up some umbrellas, I’d be oven baked so fast. And who doesn’t love exhaust fumes while you’re eating?

I have a kit very similar to this sunfounder picar I built a couple years back, maybe something like this? You’ll need a raspberry pi for it, but no soldering or anything like that is necessary.
It does support AI, though I’ve only used the OpenCV abstractions - it’s up to you how much you want to integrate. The motors and sensors are adequate, it has no problems moving under its own force. The included test tools use a web interface, you can build additional functions on those for “desktop” support. And it supports Python or Scratch but I’ve never personally tried the scratch side of things.
Edit - I found an article that goes into more detail around building and programming experience of this specific model.
That’s like an entirely different set of dystopian problems than a company protecting their assets from abuse. Sorry your laws are fucked up.
How is it dystopian to not damage things that don’t belong to you? Ride the scooter like a normal person, or buy your own for stunting…

There is no deflation, that would be a sign of a failing economy. Best that can happen is prices stop rising and hold steady while wages catch up. The fed can encourage this by raising interest rates and cutting back currency supply, but that is the opposite of what the controlling party is pushing for.

Old reddit still has screens and moderation tools that haven’t been rebuilt. It’s kept on life support for mods right now.

I did some surface investigation so I could be wrong but – this seems to come from an annual Battle of Shrewsbury reenactment. I think the photographer captured one of the splinter fights from the big push.
There’s some older footage here (battle starts around 5:00) from someone who participated, that provides some context of the energy. It’s not combat sports and it doesn’t seem scripted. Mostly just dudes in a field putting on a show for their community. Some of these strikes I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of, but it all seems playful enough.
Worth mentioning for a reenactment to be historically accurate - someone’s gotta lose, and they’ll know to play the role appropriately. It is “scripted” in that sense.

If you have to wear chainmail to avoid injuries and getting hit hard enough to lose your footing, it’s not LARP.

Is there anything to imply the stock market actually gives a damn about external/macro cost pressures? Its like all fundamentals are out the window. At this point the companies are comfortable cranking their prices to offset any incurred costs at a moment notice, customers are used to seeing it. They’ll roll their eyes, bitch a little, and buy the product anyway.
I have to think there will be a tipping point when people straight up can’t afford things, but right now there doesn’t seem to be a tangible ceiling.

That palps line represents so much more than the dialog quality to me though. It’s all about the context, TRoS built up nothing around this and suddenly jumps sideways into a plot that neccessated invalidating a significant moment of the original trilogy. It’s jarring as a viewer and there’s no explaination for why it’s happening. THEN the film has the audacity to imply through dialog, actually the audience should not worry about the details - this is what we’re doing. Almost feels insulting in some ways.
Personally - I’m not buying the game. Krafton still owns the studio, and they’ve done nothing to make the situation better. Court mandated remediations aside, krafton tried to abuse these devs and steal what they were owed. They’re still working under a hostile parent company and likely will become a skeleton crew in no time.
Best case scenario unknown worlds can use the money to split themselves into a new studio.
