  • I mostly watch YouTube on my TV via my Roku, secondarily on my phone and rarely on my computer.

  • Yes, this has been proven experimentally.

  • YouTube Premium

Did you know that when you start to skip forward on in-video sponsor messages it gives to a button that skips ahead to the end of the message?

  • I'm imagining that's just your kid reporting on the happenings in the house.

  • Cold brew with a splash of heavy cream. IYKYK. Lately La Colombe light roast. Over ice in a rocks glass. 2 or 3 a day.

If I have any after 3:30pm I take an L-Theanine or eat a banana to take the edge off and protect my sleep.

  • My other ride is your mom

  • I think you're reversing causality. Movies that were bound to be bad cast The Rock. We need to experiment by casting The Rock in a Paul Thomas Anderson.

  • It's a Chair Lunch Dinner to go with the Bed And Breakfast across the street.

    To paraphrase Mitch Hedberg.

  • Good band

  • The Fifth Element is the quintessential sci-fi movie. Literally, the word quintessence means "fifth element".

  • Dumb and Dumber

I can't believe I didn't see anyone else post it. Mostly I've rewatched it because it was replayed on cable so much but I certainly love it.

  • The indie movie theater near my college did a "soundtrack comes alive" showing with live music. It was phenomenal!

  • So they don't notice and then they drive with flat tires and crash into and kill decent pedestrians and cyclists?

  • I got piled on recently for using AI. I was clear about it and it wasn't in my opinion "slop". Slop is when you use AI to generate something that should have been created with real human creativity. In this case I asked it to recognize what a widget was in an image. It's a simple matter of fact. The alternative to using AI would be to not know or settle for the other answers from humans, which were wrong.

Attack me for using a calculator next time, why don't you!?

  • This is kind of a misleading statistic. Cars have gotten more reliable. There's less reason to buy new. Saavy buyers buy used so the average new car buyer is increasingly from the subset of the population that's materialistic and bad with money.

  • If you think cars are bad, definitely don't buy a boat!
