  • Nice! I used to play quite a bit of Rocket League w my friend. There’s a certain boost animation you can use that looks like C💧M spraying, it’s especially funny after you win a match, when they show the winners, to spin around and start hitting the boost button. People get so mad about it😂😂

  • I remember like 2 yrs ago I was telling people on Deprogram subreddit “hey this guy is an abrasive asshole that only gives hot takes for views” and like 80% of them were like “lmk when you admit you’re a Zionist” or like “stfu, he’s done more for the global left than you”. Fine. Nowadays it’s obvious that he’s at least a lil transphobic (that tweet about trans people using their gender identity as an excuse?? for not having their political takes be criticized, it didn’t make sense so I don’t know how to even word it, my bad) and admitted himself that he isn’t a Marxist/communist. Fuck Israel and the USA, but seriously we can’t act like everyone who comes to those 2 VERY OBVIOUS leftist conclusions is a good person or even a smart person. The day I don’t have to hear about Bad Empanada again will be a very welcome one, can’t wait until his ass shuts up. Not to mention that he doxxed or helped to Doxx BayArea415, a great fount of info on PRC history and politics, as well as DPRK stuff

  • I recently read some of the book “Chinese Revolution of 1945-49” by Michael Lynch (I believe, not sure tho) and the shit I learned about ROC/KMT was SOOO bad, like they were funded by Hitler (before he allied w Japan)to kill Communists and when they fled to Taiwan they killed several thousand indigenous Taiwanese people who weren’t serving any threat to them whatsoever. I didn’t even read the full thing yet so I still have more horrors to discover

  • I wish it could be that easy, social democracy is easy to explain and works in a way that isn’t very complex, it’s easy to understand and put in practice which is more than you can say for Marxism (much love to Marx and Engels and Lenin, but it does ANYTHING but appeal to the lowest common denominator), but the unfortunate reality is that these people (good people who strive for equality, no matter how you feel about Soc-Dems) will be voted out eventually and Fascists will be put in their place to make up for the lack of record-breaking quarterly earnings for private companies. As soon as they have their chance, they’ll be much more unfair to the SocDems than the SocDems SHOULD HAVE BEEN to said Fascists.

  • Truth be told, (cringe moment upcoming, prepare yourself) I may have stopped doing it bc COVID started and we stopped going to school, or I was unofficially peer-pressured out of it because of what you mentioned, basically like 2-3 people out of 20-25 would actually stand for it. It’s been like 5 or 6 years since I did it so I don’t remember but yea it was a “symbol of rebellion” for me as a lib bc we had Trump as president and I wanted to be all “I love America even if I don’t love Trump” but nowadays I just cringe and pretend that never happened

  • As an American, I absolutely believe we should change the national anthem to “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”, more people know the lyrics, it relates more to the American experience than the actual anthem and it’s more catchy. I can’t see any other suggestions that fit this criteria more
