  • Online search says Texas listens to children starting at age 12, and takes their desires into consideration but courts will do whatever they feel is in the best interest of the child. Texas doesn’t have custody, they have either Joint or Solo Conservatorship. In September 2024 they added a “three strikes” rule regarding visitation, where disrupting the schedule 3 times results in automatically losing conservatorship. Sounds like court will be required to make changes to the arrangements.
