When i was 14 i had my first real big assignment in school. We had to write 14 pages about something. We had like 8 weeks or something. My teacher looked specifically at me and said: that's not one of these things that you can start in seven weeks and think you get by.
I knew what i had to do and i had time to do it. Anyway, i started the friday when i only had 3 more days left, didn't find the book i was looking for so i did the whole thing on a sunday and got an A. It was there where i first wondered if something is wrong with me or if school is just bullshit.
I always find it pretty stupid. It just takes two more buttons and it looks absolutely braindead when you have to do the wiggle meta to even be competitive.
20 something years ago, there was a concert of a band i really liked. They were the opener for a german band i never really cared for. It was a pretty big venue but it was pretty empty during the concert i was there to see. I was about to leave after the show and thought i might as well see the main show, since the tickets were expensive. The venue suddenly filled up and felt like 80% were straight boneheads. It was really super uncomfortable, because they weren't hiding it. Like it strated with hitler salutes, which to be fair the band strongly condemned. After the third song or so, it was getting hot in there, so people took off their shirts. There were SO MANY guys with portraits of adolf hitler. Adolf hitler doing the hitler salute, swastikas, adolf hitlers head in front of the matterhorn. And here is at least to me, the crazy part: these tattoos were GORGEOUS. I mean i was disgusted, but i myself have a lot of tattoos, and i was jealous of the the piece of shit neo nazi tattoo artist that they all seem to know.
I really think about this night a lot. Because a lot of the guys there, like myself was pretty young, and i doubt that they all just stay neo nazis. So i wonder a lot how many of these guys have the most gorgeous adolf hitler portraits on their bodies that they can never show anyone.
That never bothered me all too much. Then yesterday i watched a video on youtube to kinda doze off. Dude made some insane stuff in Minecraft. Now i usually don't really watch these videos or Minecraft videos in general. But the production value, time and effort that went into it was beyond everything i have seen so far.
The usage of the word literally kept me awake. Every time i had to flinch and at some point i had to turn it off, despite my interest.
I absolutely hate the fact that we as a society just agreed that cigarette butts aren't garbage, because then you have to argue with smokers. Some day people look back and make fun of these assholes
