  • The thawing arctic is going to disrupt the entire world order by creating all new shipping routes and zones of conflict. There is also the rich irony of an administration that denies climate change trying to strategize around its direct consequence.

  • His jawline is chiseled out of marble with perfectly straight lines.

  • They were also the Dalai Lama's biggest shills. They turned all of Gen X into Sinophobic Tibetan activists. That said, Paul's Boutique and Check Your Head were essential to the soundtrack of my youth as a teenage skater in the 90s. Musically it still holds up today and they occupied a niche that no one has been able to replace.

  • I think more warning signs could help here. This is another video of a crash at that same spot, but the driver goes off the side of the mountain instead (and survives): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5NWcdq4Wf4

Watch from about 1:15. The combination of the dark tunnel opening up to sudden bright sunlight is also a big factor. Also, at the speed that Zampella's Ferrari was going, fatality was inevitable either way.

  • Incredible how much chaos one Mossad agent can cause even after his death.

  • The other side of that road is a steep mountainside. You're not supposed to be going this speed on a winding mountain road. Are they supposed to build racetrack compliant buffer zones here for the safety of random millionaires who insist on showing off their latest $400k toys?

  • Yeah, this chart says it all:

And it's only going to widen for the foreseeable future due to historically low inventory and slowdown of new homes being built. Plus you now have to compete with venture capital buying up homes in any area with a competitive job market. And there's also the tricky dilemma with interest rates- the currently high rates make mortgages more expensive, but when they lower demand will skyrocket and inflate real estate prices.

  • Now try this argument for housing, insurance, and education costs.

  • It's kind of like guns. The proliferation of firearms absolutely makes America a more dangerous place, however it is the only way marginalized groups can defend themselves against more powerful aggressors.

  • Damn, you're hard to please if you thought Andor S2 was only "decent".

  • He was like, we have to take Germany back for Germans. And I feel like we should do that in America. We should take America back for our native population.

Let's start the self-deportations with you, Andrew, "20-year-old white Christian landscaper".

  • Yep, Bill is even wearing different glasses in these pics indicating they are from different time periods. It's just wild that his divorce is the MOST EXPENSIVE IN HISTORY, with Melinda receiving $76 billion. And all because Billy couldn't resist Epstein's island.

  • based and sloppilled

  • As already mentioned he was the founding member of Minor Threat (legends of the 80s hardcore scene) and Fugazi (seminal post-punk), but his uncompromising ethos was what truly made him punk. He was the founder of Dischord Records, a fiercely DIY label that set hard price limits (about half the industry average for CDs and vinyl) and refused corporate distribution channels. Now a lot of indie labels also follow this practice, but what made Dischord so unique was the massive amounts of money thrown at them from major labels during the height of the 90s alternative rock boom. Fugazi turned down a $10 million deal with Atlantic to retain their independence when every label was frothing at the mouth to sign them. They refused to work with Ticketmaster and other commercial outlets despite their growing popularity. All of their shows remained $5 and all-ages for as long as it could be sustainable.

  • Ah, gotcha. I was on one of the cheaper plans and everything below it has insanely high deductibles.

  • Compare that performative poser dickhead to the actual Punkest guy on Earth:

  • Why can't you downgrade?
