  • Yeah started boycotting them a couple years back when I started noticing their prices were fucking insanely high for absolute shit food. The garbage they pulled during COVID and greedflation just further solidified my resolve. Haven't ever missed it. Plenty of mom and pop food places Id rather support and enjoy more. There's always other food places, fast food or not.

  • Honestly the entire time I was suffering but basically was interested in the dude doing the interview. Yeah it hurt. A lot. I think I lasted a minute.

  • I feel yah man. Shit is ridiculously bleak.

  • If you guys didn't watch the interview it's (to no one's surprise) fucking embarrassing. Terry keeps trying to move on while remaining firm and Trump just sits there being an argumentative shit because Terry refuses to budge. Good on him for keeping his journalistic integrity, and another pile of dicks to Donnie boi to suck.

  • Oh fuck off and actually do something meaningful, FUCK. Sick of the posturing shit. Need to kick these geriatrics out and get some actual citizens that give a shit in these positions.

  • I'm trying to fathom this being an actual conversation and not some horribly, awfully scripted sitcom. How the hell is it this bad good lord.

  • Hooray another sack of shit politician attempting to derail from real issues

  • Don't let fucking corpos buy up houses. Fucking duh. Secondly set a cap rate on house value dependent on labor and materials that were used to build it. Thirdly don't let individuals own more than so many houses without paying exorbitant taxes on extra houses. There's always obvious shit like this that these plans never address because politicians are paid off specifically to ignore this so corpos can keep lining their pockets.

  • My experience hasnt been quite this bad, but I've had similar. Definitely disheartening and frustrating. Hope you get the help you need soon man.

  • There is no negotiation except 'quit your stupid shit and remove the tariffs'.

  • I find the point being looking at toxic traits and seeing what the normal version of that is. In example: Men showing emotion being viewed as weak, and other men bullying or belittling those that do. Obviously you're not going to pursue being more emotional, but you can be there for young boys that are in your life and tell them it's okay to experience these things. Teach proper coping mechanisms, or learn them yourself if you need to. Another example would be wardrobe. My dad was huge on black being some sort of gateway to god knows wtf he thought. Also thought dudes wearing nail polish was absolutely unacceptable. Am I going to go around trying to force myself to wear those things now? Nah, not my style, but if my kids want to wear certain colors or paint their nails I'll make damn sure they done feel immasculated because of those choices. Idk it's weird to me to paint things definitively as 'healthy masculinity' and more of a 'these behaviors obviously aren't normal'. Healthy masculinity would be just returning to being a normal, feeling, caring human being. Maybe my view is skewed or something, idk. Happy to hear what others think.

  • Get fucked. I hope he's given flak the rest of his goddamn life. Nazi piece of shit billionaire.

  • And those that are uneducated or downright stupid will fall for it. Those that aren't, will continue not to because nobody can afford to have kids and they know 5k doesn't do shit.

  • Wow. With everything else going on this is a breath of fresh air. I didn't realize the scale was already that massive on green side. Probably because I live in a southern state, but I have noticed a massive amount of windmills going up. Anyway, thanks for the post! Definitely brightened my day.

  • First, it's the internet, you can cuss. Either structure the sentence not to include it at all or just cuss for fuck's sake. Second, not everyone knows every actor/actress or is familiar, especially one that's definitely not in the limelight anymore like Ashley Judd. Hell even when she was popular she wasn't in a lot.

  • Sure, it's great, but humans have proven time and again that religion causes more abuses over time than not. Yes, tax the rich. Using a religious text to justify it is weird. I do actually appreciate the info as I didn't know this about Islam, but in the same vein it's still religion which inherently leads to systems of abuse and shitting on people in the name of a deity. Not that humans aren't good enough at doing that without religion, but I feel religion just gives them more of a reason when believing they're serving some higher power.

  • That's terrifying, but I also relate. My worst ones are the little projects that are just a teeny bit too much effort for the week so I do the whole 'eh, this weekend' thing. Then realize it's been over a year and the projects list keeps growing lol.

  • Dude this is insane. First I feel like you'd be more prone to falling over or something? Like top heavy?? But on the other hand you can probably go up most stairs without feeling like you're about to fall to your death. I have average foot size for my height and all stairs I have to be on my tip toes. Honestly have wished I had smaller feet many times in my life. Thanks for sharing! Not something I ever thought was a thing.

  • I really have to think at this point there's some really heinous shit they're doing while everyone hyperfocuses on this. It's the only logical reason they'd keep up the charade after it's been proven it's absolute fucking bullshit.
