  • I had jsut had shoulder surgery and was on the 'good' pain meds, I went to a work party and had a small glass of wine mid afternoon. Latter I had my evening meds - oh my lord.

My pulse was pegged at 100-150+ for what felt like forever and NOTHING was right and my brain was solving the worlds problems, over and over again on fast repeat. Everything was almost liquid.

  • Not sure why the video above the fold was included, but it contains thes gem:

  • I have done just about all my stuff on ESPs and PlatformIO even though I have a box of arduino

  • Thanks, almost 9 years ago now so not too bad to look back on it

  • My wife was rushed by ambulance to the area hospital with post-partum complication at about 48 hours.

Then seven days latter our new born was rushed off to the same hospital with suspected meningitis - she spent nearly 2 week there starting in NICU.

Both wife and daughter survived, although both were pretty hard to go through at the time.

If either of them ended for the worse it would have been crushing - if both of these had ended badly I suspect it would be fairly well up there

  • I think that things like mapping hot/cold pixels, noise modeling etc will come into play to prove source

  • My wife has completely cut off any contact with her mother, but she was genuinely a horrid person so no loss for her and I but there is some for our two kids. There was a lot that has lead to this.

But as I said she is a horrid person so we don't really want her in our kids lives.

    probably doesn't answer shit

  • Shit, forgot about that song. I wonder why it resonates again at this time?

  • I'm early 50's, 2100 is only 75 years away. I would 125-ish, not outside the bounds of possibility for a Gen Xer to still be kicking in 2100

  • born in 2006.

Shit, just call my age out... Back in about the year you were born I was part of a online ultra-light hiking group that had semi random meetups an hikes. Most of us were guys from mid 20s to mid 30s, except one young girl of 17. She had no problems of doing 3-5 day hikes across some very remote UK places with a bunch of older guys.

If you trust your friend I see no issues.

Books are a good way to be of grid

  • Even metric is under-sized on dressed timber 4x2" ~ 100x50mm => 90x45m dressed

  • If they are deemed fire arms (and they were) then:

    • Import permits would be needed.
    • A NZ importer would be needed with all the correct licences

I'm not sure where it stands at the moment for the secret service/FBI coming into NZ but in the past they have been forced to hand over all firearms and Protection was supplied by NZ police and Defence Force - and that was before the last round of tightening up of fire arms laws

  • If any one says that bananas are spicy may have this

  • did you see the same YT shoet as me the other day with widows and recluse?

  • You may like this one, the is a group of plants in NZ Hebejeebie spp.

    From the type description:

  • I made a PR/commit to to a foss android kernel for 'tap to wake' ported from fork to another model. I fully attributed where and who and complied with the GPL. The guy lost his shit and threatened my very existence, over around 20 lines of code.
