  • They did

  • Not sure they're active anymore

  • Seems like it would be easier for the moderators there to collaborate with a threadiverse community

We've tried several times to collaborate with the subreddit mods in the past, they never wanted to have a pinned post referring to any Threadiverse community.

They were either power tripping or afraid Reddit would remove them, well seems like it's still happening anyway

  • The main place I still posts Piefed/Lemmy links is /r/RedditAlternatives

  • Jordanlund has removed sites for being hosted by WordPress before IIRC.

Do you have any examples of this?

  • I do not have the authority to make it policy.

    Who does?

  • Great suggestion !

Navigate in the community session and search through hundreds of non-political one; Hobbies, books, tv series, anime, movie, ecc. You can also use this lemmy explorer site : https://lemmyverse.net/

About that, the "Communities" page on Piefed has a counter of weekly active users, so you can use that to find active communities. There are also feeds on https://piefed.social/feeds that can help find communities on a specific topic, and can be subscribed from other instances

  • I had a quick look about the "spamming"

Turns out it wasn't spamming the same post over 30 communities, but just adding an additional message in the body of relevant posts.

These have been received positively by a few people

On the other hand, the 30 identical comments posted under each of those unique posts have been received quite negatively

  • Settings - Blocks

  • There are only removed posts, no banned users.

Doesn't that fall under "other sanctions"?

What sanction did they impose (e.g. community ban, instance ban, removed comment)?

Post only about bans or other sanctions that you have received from a mod or admin.

  • Thank you for clarifying

  • Hello,

Thank you for moderating those communities for so long.

Good luck with your break, would be nice to see you back after a while, even just as a lurker/commenter, on Piefed or another Lemmy instance of your choice.

    Take care!

AtomicPoet has deleted the piefed.social communities where he was the sole moderator (!movies@piefed.social being the exception). Content is still available, details in the linked post
