Welcome to Greece🥲
Hello everyone!😂😂
Here in Greece concert performances of foreign bands/artists cost around 30€ to 90€ (depending on how well known the artists are) and many times it is a festival with more than one band performing.
I think Greek bands/artists charge around 0€ to 30€ for concerts (0€ because some do it out of charity, to help a cause)
Btw I think I’ve never used ticketmaster, we have a viva.com which handles many of the tickets (and it too is an annoying service).
That was good, tnx
Hey, I had seen that meme around here some weeks ago, but I lost it and was searching it recently. Thank you, gonna share it with my friend now:)
I don’t exactly understand your comment (did you mean to type “can” or “much” instead?), but either way I didnt find its gameplay limited. It had lots of stuff to try.😅 I just didnt have enough time to play it.
PS. Do you know if you can become a multi-cellular organism in the game?
Wait, you can actually evolve out of the water amd become multicellular? Lol, I’ve played it so little that I’ve only gotten to have a few organelles
I think from the tests I did here with 2 people (from different instances) the downvotes are from any instance that federates with mine (though still not 100% sure).
I asked above to downvote me from their non-mander.xyz instance and I can see 2 downvotes.
Can you see my downvote on your comment? (Give it about a hour or so to federate)
I will remove it when you’ll reply (or if a day has passed).😅
Also, can you see any downvotes on this post? (I see 6 so far.)
So does this mean the downvotes I see on blahaj are exactly the number of downvotes from all the users in instances that allow downvotes which my instance federates with?
(I wrote it in such a confusing way, but I dont know if I can make it any better😅)
Edit: could you please downvote this comment from your (not mander.xyz) instance to test if the downvotes federate?
I’m still not very sure about this and I wanted to ask about it here for a long time. I think they are “disabled”, but I think on lemmy, disabling them means that for every 5 downvotes the system shows a downvote. I don’t exactly understand how it works on communities with downvotes disabled.
Edit: I found this post by Ada about a year ago:
https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/104422
Turns out that it (probably) was decided to modify the downvote system so that for every 5 downvotes, 1 downvote appears. I’m still kinda confused tho😅
Probably first time seeing a post on 196 that has same number of upvotes and downvotes (and it’s not 1-1)💀
I know thats not the point of the story, but that guy kinda wasted a chance of creating an army of bugs and become a real hero. Such a shame.
On the other hand, we got a very good story full of misery:)
I dont exactly get what “Nib” means, can you explain? About the g502, a relative of mine has the wired one, but the braided cable got damaged very easily. The one I have I got it ~3years ago and I gotta say, it has fallen many times while I was moving the laptop…😬 At least it still works well.
Logitech “updated” the g502 series last year I think, but I think I prefer the older versions (the looks at least).
PS. Putting the cut/copy/paste shrotcuts on the left side of the button has helped me save sooo much time, probably some of my favourite shortcuts.
I see many Mcdonalds openning in greece the recent years, especially drive-throughs and I dont really like where this is going…
Wait, was earth always like this in this meme?
I ~never did and I think it’s a combination of various reasons:
I’m kinda shy (internally I might use a more offensive language, but I might even censor that too). And the fact that I’m not using such language for so long makes it more awkward to use it now.
In my family we probably use less vulgar laguange than the typical one, so I wasnt exposed that much on it (on the contrary, I was exposed to way more uncensored content on the internet and that may be why some vulgar phrases in English seem more natural/normal, while the same ones translated in Greek (my mother language) seem more offensive.
Many times I find it unecessary. I think they’re better used when you’re angry and help you let some steam out, rather than using them in a calm conversation with friends for example (though when others people use them even on me in a friendly way I kinda seem to like it for some reason? I might think we’re close so they feel confident to talk to ke that way?)
Maybe it’s just one of my quirks, lol. I might just do it, for not much reason.
I find many (not all!) of the vulgar phrases to discriminate minorities and people in general. I really dont want to use such words. I dont want to cause harm to innocent people just because I got angry.
I could probably think more if I spent more time thinking, hm
As I said, I dont think I ever used such language, so I dont think there’s a change to talk about. Just some people might notice it and possibly comment about it (usually in good faith?)
Kinda yes, sometimes I’m in a bad situation and kinda want to, but I dont want those conditions to “break” me. This might not make much sense tho.🤷
