  • Seems weird to be so anti-Genocide you end up supporting another Genocidal group.

  • I'll also grant that that Hamas probably killed a higher percentage of soldiers on Putin's 71st birthday than Israel has Hamas members since then.

This is a fucking unhinged comment, beyond you using "Putins Birthday" as a dogwhistle for October 7th. Comments like this do nothing but make the Pro-Palestinian anti-Genocide movement look pro-Hamas.

The rate of civilian to soldier deaths on October 7th are the exact same 2:1 ratio that Israel is currently being criticized for. Both governments are shit when it comes to murdering civilians and neither should be praised.

  • There might be lone wolf attacks here and there, but there won't be some great MAGA uprising.

Even that could turn scary though. One lone wolf attack could inspire more and those inspire even more, eventually leading us to an American Years of Lead

The Trump base has shown us how insane they are before, I don't want to underestimate what they'll do next.

  • Okay but again as has been pointed out to you, that has no bearing on government contracted products like this, whether that's code or rockets or anything else the government doesn't want to just share with the entire world.

  • Why do you think software would be treated any differently?

  • Okay but that has no relevance at all to what the comment you were replying to was about. Companies contracted by the government and DOD specifically to create rockets are guaranteed to be covered by ITAR. Meaning open sourcing them would be impossible, regardless of the first amendment or anything else.

There's a massive massive difference between the software for a DOD contracted rocket like SpaceX makes, and hobbyist rocketry.

  • While courts have ruled source code is first amendment protected. Your statement is still very very wrong. Just because it's first amendment protected doesn't mean it can't be classified normally or made illegal to leak because of ITAR.

But go leak some of the source code from XKeyscore or a schematic of a pair of GPNVG if you'd like to test our code classification and ITAR systems.

  • This is exactly why Judges have been so lenient on him. None of them want to go from country clubbing to having firsthand knowledge of the witness protection program.

  • For?

  • Omfg, a D&D campaign where everyone played caricatures of politicians could be super fun.

  • Oops!

  • Go check their post history, they post pretty much any anti-Biden anything that they can find every day.

I've asked them several times before who they support instead, never gotten an answer.

  • Thanks lol, started as a name for my healing characters in games. Used to go around saying, "Anyone need some universal healthcare."

  • Glad to see someone understand how this works.

Normal presidents don't determine what they say or their policy based off mainstream news, let alone sources liable to call it a genocide like TikTok.

They get it from State Department and other executive branch briefings, and if those departments don't classify it as one, then the president won't either.

  • Yeah idk it certainly is confusing, I have multiple ideas from him wanting it to be more dedicated to the gods than just him, to the inscriptions not having the time to be finished before he died. Just seems weird to me that we have a bunch of Tomb pyramids, and then one that isn't so tomb like but still has a Pharoah inside.

Hopefully this is one of the things we'll find an answer to.

  • If it was the guy’s tomb, why isn’t his name anywhere? All the other tombs are positively lousy with art. But not this one. The one - graffiti, not official, not sanctioned - name is hidden in the equivalent of a closet and that is in shorthand even?

I don't know a ton about Khufu, but us it possible that he just didn't want as much iconography? I know it's been common for several other cultures (some of Byzantine and Islamic) to not what to have icons or representations of people. Definitely odd, and I'm not sure why almost all of the other pyramids would be tombs and then his wouldn't be.
