  • As a poor, I was very happy to find "free" (still gotta have a device and internet) streaming stations that are all Star Trek, all the time.

    Leaving and need some sound for the doggo to drown out the neighbors and keep him from barking? Star Trek channel. Down and need something on to start drawing you outta your funk? Star Trek channel. Cooking, and kinda want to still watch something, but can't fully pay attention? Star Trek channel. Tired of this Trek series and want to watch another? The other Star Trek channel. Pluto stations for sure, and also some others, Freevee, Tubi, Amazon channels, etc.

  • I've been using Magic Earth, I am not sure that it has traffic and police. Does for sure have speed limit warnings you can set or turn off and camera alert options.

    I haven't had it very long, there may be options I missed on setup. Worked great my last few trips. You can pre-download maps before you travel which was a must for me.

  • I made a fingernail clipper guard using a paperclip and a couple grooves under the bottom blade.

    I have a version this on my pet's nail clippers that are made with them. The pet type is more like scissors, one side has a little plate you can swing around behind the opening so that you don't have to worry clipping the dark colored nails short when the quick is hidden. Really surprised there aren't any for people, especially for baby and elderly folks.

  • Yes! I want to see data somewhere. I hear all the time that DEI puts less qualified people in positions but I think I've only read one article about this being found out and provable (no idea if it was even fact, it was so many years ago) though I have not researched the data or anything. I think it's similar to the "welfare queen" screeching. Because one shit person took advantage of a system meant to help, does not mean that all who are a part of that system have the same goal.

    And the recent news of Elon wanting to hire from overseas because Americans are too dumb. Assume by race and location of person that they are the most qualified... hmmm. Their bigotry doesn't even make sense consistently.

  • Yep! That was it! Responding to something about having to "earn being an ally" ... I still am not sure wtf they mean, I have to commit deeds before I am friend instead of foe? If I'm an egg, or in the closet, I have to out myself before I can have or be supportive? I'm still am not sure. Chalking it up to I'm too old and they're to cliq-ey, or, they are just a bunch of assholes. Leaning latter now that I see that those who ask just one question get banned too.

    I know through text it's easy to come off sounding angrier or meaner than intended but I don't see anything perma ban worthy in my response. Wanting to block me for that, sure... temp ban to cool off, of course. I could absolutely be dick not worth engaging with. Peruse my short history... see that even if I am, I am not going around trolling people or being abusive. I'm just confused idiot with a sailor's mouth.
