  • What language are you trying to learn? It’s really pretty bad, you can complete a whole course and be unable to have basic conversations, but it’s certainly better than nothing as long as you pair it with a rigorous study and practice regimen. Or, it was, before the AI-ification of it, now half the time it’s just completely wrong.

Such a complex setup, so many moving pieces and all of them screens, including the curtains. The duet between Lionel Richie and Jackie Chan was a pleasant surprise, too.

  • Arc raiders runs fine on UE5. It is in fact down to developers. Now, you could make an argument that it’s difficult to use and has poor documentation, which I’ve seen developers say, but it is in fact possible to make performant games using it as the engine. Obviously, custom engines are almost always better, but they also require far more resources to bootstrap and more time to onboard new hires.

  • The life can be, and historically has be likened to the seasons of a year. Summer child in that respect is just to say one is young, but necessarily a child (spring), but still early enough in the year that days are long, nights are warm, and everything is generally enjoyable.   • Yeah China is pretty well defended in its own area, but it does not have the power projection that would be necessary to win a naval battle in Latin America. In attempting to do so, they’d also be severely weakening that defensive capacity back home, too. China is pragmatic, to a fault, you could say, but they do not want to engage in open warfare with anyone really, much less the US in its own hemisphere.

  • Well and the reforms did in fact lead to a lot of corruption and liberals entering the halls of power. Xi really did a good job keeping the parts that worked, and reversing the parts that didn’t. He’s still struggling with cleaning up liberal corruption to this day. The good thing was maintaining the dominance of the party through the reforms, so that once an ideologically minded administration got in, they could use that dominance to ensure adherence to the principles of the nation.
