  • I hope this more of a "don't bite the hand that feeds you," and Trump recieves SOME kind of consequence. He's been a conman for years, and at some point, CEOs should be able to see that. Like, do they really think he has THEIR best interests in mind? We're lucky he's even accepting that one plane as a bribe, since I expected him to sell out for the price of a big mac with fries (no drink).

  • I don't how long Hitler's reign lasted, but for how short the Confederacy was, these losers began looking at other losers to try and become one giant loser. How our most "patriotic" nationalistic MAGA losers went to Nazism still baffles me, since the propaganda I was taught was that Naxi Germans were bad and evil.

    In fact, I was taught alot of propaganda that Russia and China and Nazis are all evil monsters. Now these losers think Russia taking over Ukraine is a win, we've shot ourselves in the foot dealing with China and the world, and Nazis are mainstream.

    Sometimes I wanna save our nation, but then I look at MAGA and how loud this "minority" is. Then you dig deeper into history and this isn't even the first occurance this has happened in the US (concentration camps, slavery, war, citizen manipulation, etc etc)

    Nuance about the police, government, and politics are gone. I used to have hope our system was initially working, and that it could be fixed. But now: I wanna burn it all down and start again like it's 1774, or leave to someplace more empathetic where people can understand the basic concept of "don't hurt others, hurting people is bad"

  • As a US person, all I've wanted to do is kill myself or do something drastic while doing it.

    Why haven't I? I don't want my life to be a giant politcal statement. I don't want to be responsible for the millions of people in the US, and the billions around the globe. I don't want to make a mistake and inadvertly ruin my family's life. I'm a 20 year old college student who was naively interested in electronics, only to see the tech industry is just as vile as real life.

    I'm scared, I'm anxious, and I'll admit that I'm a massive bitch. I guess I leave this comment behind because I don't know what to do with these feelings, but I know that if I keep playing ignorant and stay silent that things will only get worst.

    If this were to happen in England, I'd hope you would all hang them too. But I would understand if you don't, because we're all human, and I'd still like to be empathetic in these very hard times.

  • All this insecurity about tariffs has me hoping he have a Boston Tea Party situation. If I recall the story correctly, they threw the expensive British Tea overboard to protest the tax.

    Similarly, I also recall a sugar tax, and either an ink or paper one: basically, I hope I can see something similar to see there's still a small piece of American values from our ancestors (not the twisted Conservative heaven MAGA wants, but on the American dream of freedom, liberty, and justice for ALL.)

  • Then why the fuck do we not revolutionize and impose a 3rd party? I swear, I have to go down to DC myself to make people realize WE NEED TO GO OUT AND ACT!!! If NO ONE is happy with either party, we should be able to decline either candidate until we can all agree we found a compitent one. God, does anyone know of any revolutionary groups? I know the founding fathers didn't just declare independency and establish governmemt. They actually met up and planned how to knock these rich assholes off their thrones.
