I watched a lot of early Rogan.. And even though he was an idiot, there were so many wonderful conversations with interesting people.
Then came the likes of Jocko Willink, and slowly you saw more right wing people creep into his orbit. The early Peterson was even fun to listen to and said some good stuff.. but the conversation became more political, more right wing and in my opinion less interesting... Just regurgitation of right wing talking points. Once Rogan was in talks with Spotify.. there was nothing interesting left. Rogan probably got info from Spotify on demographics, targeting, subjects that do best and decided a 100 million was enough to sell gis soul. Then by constantly being in the same room with the ghouls and smelling their farts.. they managed to convince him the farts smelled nice.
All the people taking this lightly, wildly underestimate the effect the richest man in the world has on public discourse. This guy is taking heads of state to task, threatening democracy.
I hope he trips up and gets X banned.. but we need to be way more radical in protecting our democracy.

Savings banks that hold the money of normal people need to be split off from investment banks. So they can collapse and not use these savings as collateral for their risky behavior.
That was not my point. NATO is a stabilizing force. If you remove it, Russia and others will just go on the war path and more people will suffer..
I acknowledge the suffering of the Palestinians and think that needs to stop. In the past I argued that the war crime angle against Netanyahu should be picked up by the icc.. and now they ruled there is enough evidence to issue an arrest warrant.
But NATO does not support these atrocities. Countries in NATO do.. but how does the NATO organisation do that?
This seems to be of the same mold as "the UN does not do anything but talk" yeah.. the UN is a talking organisation.. that's their goal.. keep people in dialogue and serve as a platform to hopefully have member countries do stuff.
NATO is a defense alliance.. member countries not actively doing something against Israëls agression does not mean that it would be up to NATO to do something.
Organizers and people arrested should be put on a plane and given a tour through Ukraines east.. to see with their own eyes. Too many people seem to be unaware why a counterforce to Russia was created in the first place.
Arguing against NATO for the reasons they state just means more people will suffer like the Palestinians do.

The fact china was able to work quietly and then make all the worlds car manufacturers technically obsolete in 5 years shows that long term planning and direction works wonders. Their models works.. just don't care about the harm you cause along the way.
There must be a middle ground that works.. I'd argue for a bigger government involved in directing the economy and countries more.. not less, profit caps and revenue taxation.. but people smarter than me might have better ideas.
