I still appreciate Lemmy more. It's more intimate and people are way more respectful. Also, Reddit is full of shit comments. Lemmy comments aren't perfect or amazing, but I visited Reddit this week looking for memes (agree with your point on quantity of memes) and perused the comments. I forgot how stupid and formulaic Reddit can be. I'm really happy that didn't transfer over to Lemmy.
Yeah, then we could maybe figure out what is the microbial cause of seal finger. But seriously, how do we not know what causes seal finger? Can't they just culture it from a seal at an aquarium??
So weird, but good for them! How does that conversation come up? Who says something first?
Heyyy, so like...you know how I think your wife is banging and mine sucks, and you think mine is banging and yours sucks? Also, you know how you hate your kids and love mine, and I hate my kids and love yours? What if...and hear me out on this...what if we switched...like all of it?
Same for dogs. When my cat was killed, his dog-sister was in despairing grief for weeks. I'd hear her howling throughout the day, she stopped eating, and barely did anything all day. For the next few months, whenever she would hear/see a cat on tv or smell anything that belonged to the cat, she would get lively and attentive, as if her missing sibling was coming back. It was terrible to witness.
To my Hispanic ears, "n---o" sounds like an Anglophone saying "black". Even when used derogatorily, my immediate first thought is that they pronounced it incorrectly, then the rest of the associated matters kick in and I realize what they are really saying.
Imagine if in the Hispanosphere , the word "black" was almost synonymous with the n-word.
But yeah, don't use n---o in English to refer to or describe anyone.
Espionage has really gotten ridiculous. Either these swimmers were assisted with doping by their governments and people inside of the WADA, or they're being sabotaged by Americans. I have no other explanation for how 23 swimmers could have popped as positive for doping by their own country's organization, then cleared by international ones. Something is fucky. The shit winds are blowin, Randy Bobandy 👴🥃
I appreciate her openness, but it's a confusing report to me. I'm wondering the intent/purpose of sharing that info because this seems like one of those things that I would likely misunderstand, then repeat and get into trouble fordoing so. What would likely be the point of the post? Relate with others, seek validation for her appearance, be funny, or something else?
The dude didn't convince himself he was gay. The dude convinced himself that he convinced himself he was gay. To keep it going, he is now trying to convince the public that he convinced himself. "If everyone believes it, it must be true." He is gay af because he not only remembered that experience, but wrote about it in a book.
To JD Vance:
Come on, bro. Just be gay. Like for real. You're wasting your life and your wife's life with the charade. Y'all could be having awesome sex instead of pretending. If you're still resistant, fine. Just try it once to prove you don't like it. It's just once. You'll probably cum too fast to get it over with and then you can say you didn't like it or take a 5 min break and do it again to make sure. Haha. Omg, that would be crazy, right?
