  • Jo haste die Daten dazu? Weil die Superreichen verbrauchen vielleicht persönlich 10000x mehr als du und ich, gibt aber auch nur ein paar tausend von denen und sind somit tatsächlich weniger Anteil.

    Was ein Riesenanteil ist sind Firmen, und woher kriegen Firmen ihr Geld? Weil Leute wie du und ich ihre Produkte kaufen. Musk ist Milliardär weil Millionen "normale" Menschen Teslas kaufen. Bezos ist Milliardär weil Milliarden "normale" Menschen Amazon nutzen. Usw usw

    Ist halt kein Argument. Was ein Argument ist, ist "wenn jeder Mensch auf der Welt so einen Einfluss auf das Klima hätte wie ich, hätten wir dann ein Klimaproblem?" Wenn die Antwort ja ist, muss man noch an sich arbeiten, wenn die Antwort nein ist, dann kannst du chillen zu dem Thema.

    Wär mal interessant zu wissen, was man dafür genau als deutscher so machen müsste, um diesen Zustand zu erreichen, ich weiß es tatsächlich nicht. Oder ob es überhaupt möglich ist.

  • Tjaa, wir haben ungefähr 2/3 der Bevölkerung, die Parteien wählen, die es nicht bockt. Wie soll da Regulierung zustande kommen.

  • Naja, wählen gehen ist ja auch sinnfrei, ne, weil eine Stimme ist ja irrelevant.

    Ist einfach ne Ausrede halt. Klar hat der einzelne "keinen" Effekt. Aber wenn alle denken sie haben keinen Effekt, und deswegen ihren Konsum nicht beschränken und so effektiv 30% mehr Treibhausgase produzieren, dann steigen die Treibhausgase um 30%.

    Alles in unserer Gesellschaft hängt im Endeffekt vom einzelnen ab. Klar haben verschiedene Leute verschieden viel Macht, etwas zu ändern, aber die Politik wird auch vom einzelnen gemacht, Politiker sind auch vom einzelnen gewählt.

    Das Problem ist einfach, dass der durchschnittliche Einzelne scheiße ist.

    Und ja, mir ist bewusst, dass Superreiche noch mehr kontrollieren, aber man könnte ja z.b. Linke wählen oder ähnliches, die wirklich was gegen die machen wollen. Machen auch die wenigsten.

  • I don't know runit. Maybe runit didn't even have a way to delay or customize shutdown, maybe it always just waits 5 seconds and then forcibly terminates a process, resulting in you never noticing when a cleanup job was too slow. Maybe you just randomly never installed a particular program with a slow shutdown job while using runit. There's a bunch of reasonable explanations and possibilities for why this difference exists, and they can all mean systemd is perfectly reasonable.

  • systemd moment in the sense that someone not affiliated with systemd used systemd to write a stop job that doesn't terminate quickly? Or that you willingly installed software that brought along a slow stop job with it?

    This is like so far away from systemd's fault, idk, it must just be a meme right?

  • Ja naja. Wenn du weißt, dass dir übel wird, haste ja meistens Tüten oder n Container dabei. Geschmack kann man auch aus'm Mund kriegen. Sich zu übergeben ist dann auch nicht suuuper schlimm.

    Aber ja, das ist ja im Endeffekt was ich meine. Du kannst dir immer mehr Angst machen indem du dich auf die schrecklichen Dinge fokussierst. Aber es gibt halt die Möglichkeit, wenn man das möchte, sich nicht darauf zu fokussieren und seine Aufmerksamkeit auf andere Dinge zu lenken. Das ist ja im Endeffekt wie Therapie (CBT) funktioniert, du versuchst, deine negativen Verhaltensweisen in positive umzumünzen.

  • Funktioniert aber tatsächlich. Nicht genau so simpel wie da flapsig gesagt.

    Aber man kann die Übelkeit akzeptieren. Verstehen dass sie nicht ultimativ schlimm ist. Aufhören, sich auf sie fokussieren und stattdessen die Aufmerksamkeit auf die schöne Umgebung lenken, an der man vorbei fährt (oder sonstiges was man schön findet). Und wenn man das macht, geht die Übelkeit vielleicht nicht unbedingt weg, aber sie ist nicht mehr schlimm und man kann trotzdem die Fahrt genießen, auch wenn es einem nicht perfekt geht.

  • It does indeed work on Firefox mobile with tampermonkey. I should know, I implemented this and am using it that way mostly :D Don't like many of the apps.

  • I use this on the Android Firefox browser :D didn't like the apps at the time I made this, that's why I made sure that it's compatible with mobile Firefox as well.

  • So first of all, the only reason to do this is to achieve authoritarian control, simply because many people want more power. Power is the end goal, not what you want to do with that power, they simply want more of it. This is the overarching theme for all of their actions.

    And yes, in a society where the general public has more power than the ruling class, theoretically, they have to get public support. "Protecting the children" sounds good to the general public. Read the article to see how the law is worded: "children’s rights to moral, physical and spiritual development supersede any right other than the right to life, including the right to peacefully assemble"

    But the actual reason for why the war against LGBTQ specifically is popular, is a sentiment among many people that sexuality is evil, and only barely acceptable just to facilitate childbirth. If you look at LGBTQ, almost everything within it is for free sexuality, and if you're gay, lesbian, trans, asexual for example, that theoretically directly goes against childbirth. Thus the rationale against LGBTQ is, they don't want their kids turned LGBTQ by never even learning that it is an option for them. No public events => children never get in contact with it => children don't become LGBTQ.
