I was a big fan of the first 4 albums or so but by the 4th they started the change over to extremely produced but also not very interesting (to me) albums. I actually went to see them last year and they were great and the new stuff was great live, but sadly they do not play much of their early stuff, just a few of the big hits or absolute concert mainstays get played from those albums. Which is totally their right but yea, big changes over the years. I’ve given the newer stuff a chance a few times but it just doesn’t click with me like the first albums.
There is nothing more horrifying to these people than their children not fitting whatever model they have in mind for them. If a vaccine could make the child autistic (it doesn’t) better the child die than get it. If trans care will make the child into something I do not understand, better they not receive the care and suffer. Learning is bad, accepting different things is bad, my child is my slave they have no rights (when they are an adult they must be totally self reliant though).

As someone with a mortgage, fuck this shit. I do not want to 1. Hold other people out of having the ability to secure a consistent place to live. 2. Give a fuck about my decaying homes value if it means I can never move out of it. Housing should not be a financial instrument/tool/whatever.

To add to this, I am pretttty sure that the GOP could just make a budget bill, pass it in the house, then use reconciliation (parliamentarian approved) to just need a simple majority in the senate, and the government would be funded.
