A dungeons and dragons term for Armour class.

It’s how you determine if an attack hits you.

Say you have an AC of 15 and an attacker tries to hit you they roll a 15 or higher with a 20 sided dice it hits you. (Meets it beats it)

However your opponent also can have boosts to to their attack say a magic weapon adds plus 1 or something so they could roll a 14 plus the 1 to reach 15 thus hitting you. Then they roll damage with another dice dependant on the weapon.

So if the characters are then married they get a plus two to their AC and now have 17 and the 15 misses

When I was learning to ride, my dad bent mt training wheels up so the bike would still turn and the wheels would only touch if you started to fall over a fair way.

Yeah I play civ 6 a lot, my wife and I have thousands of hours combined. People have bosrd game nights we have civ nights.

I can’t see us upgrading any time soon unless there’s something spectacular but even then going from 5 to 6 was hard work

Except we both send money to an account that’s in my name offsetting the mortgage on the house that’s in my name too. My wife wants access to this account because she’s worried if I die the bank will make it hard to get at the cash since it’s offset and joint savings all in one.

Not to mention we don’t have wills and she’s been pushing for that for a few years.
