  • For me, I mainly just focus on enjoying the limited time I have without really caring what happens in the world. World going to shit? Oh well, I still have my hobbies I can do instead of worrying about that.

Don't really have a number for your scale as I don't even know if you could call this nihilism.

  • Not really. "Legacy" doesn't mean anything to me as it won't matter when I'm dead because I'm dead.

  • Reminds me of that one copypasta

  • As weird as it sounds: Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (The OG one).

On the surface, it's a shit platformer game for kids, but what makes it interesting is the ways you can break the game and the lively speedrunning community. If you just try to play the game by following its rules, you're going to have a bad time.

However, if you use cool speedrunning glitches and exploits, it becomes much more fun to break the game in ways the developers didn't intend. I tend to play from time to time 100%ing it using exploits to reach locked areas earlier, skip entire sections, and play some levels backwards.

  • Turning "Your Computer" into "My Computer"

  • I firmly believe some days you wake up and the world just fucking hates you, yet the next day everything is chill. ¯(ツ)

  • Currently, I'm replaying The Witcher 3, and the main annoyance I'm having right now is not being able to pause during timed choices (and timed choice are a whole other problem in games too).

You can pause during non-time-sensitive dialog choices, but not during timed ones. I don't know why they specifically deny pausing for those. Maybe to prevent people from pausing and thinking it out? But, some of these times sensitive choices greatly effect the story. I want to be able to think about these choices when they effect the story.

  • Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion, and (to some extent) Fallout 3 & New Vegas. They had a good amount of character customization compared to their later entries.

Cyberpunk 2077 had quite a bit as well, more than what I was expecting.

Stardew Valley has a lot of different shirts and accessories to choose from during character creation.

You could argue that, to some extent, Minecraft has the best character creation in the form of skins.

  • I like the demon door music that plays in Fable. Not really sure that counts as either (tho sometimes the demon doors lead to caves or maybe dungeons?)

  • .world was the first one I had heard of back when many people were moving over to Lemmy a few years back. Haven't changed since. If world goes down, I'll probably switch.

  • Get a lot of tissues if your nose is running. Sometimes I will lay down and listen to a podcast, other times I might try to do something at my desk.

    Hope you feel better, OP.

  • Not really a souvenir, but I bought a Blahaj from IKEA a while back, and it chills in my living room.

  • This method is to preserve root after updating instead of having to reflash it again.

  • I like the snoopy wallpaper as well. I'm glad your parents seem to enjoy it (the wallpaper and the computer lol).

Also, why is there a toothbrush on the right?

  • In one of their videos on the store page, they even show the face plate being changed. :O

  • I mainly use Kleopatra with a dedicated passphrase for it.

  • For games, I like atmospheric horror in the sense that it makes you question your sanity. Something moving out the corner of your eye, objects changing position, etc. No jumpscares, no loud noises, none of that. Psychological horror is my cup of tea.

  • Sure, I just edited the comment. If you do end up watching it, I hope you enjoy it. :)

  • Of the show? Sure.

Edit: removed image as it is redundant. My top post in this chain now contains the image.

  • If not anime, then Regular Show. Despite most episodes covering a new topic each episode, many references from older episodes show up in future episodes. Additionally, each season's overarching story is really good.

    Edit: added image as requested.
