The Alhambra is just majestic. By far my favourite palace in Europe and that counts the ones in France (I haven't explored the German ones yet though). Spain as a whole is a very culturally rich country.
They will rationalize their sins and murderous, genocidal past and present so they can continue doing it, because they don't believe in right and wrong (and you see it here all the time too, amorality is the cornerstone of Western civ. If you've been here long enough to see people downvote me because I take a moral stance, you understand) they only believe in power. Oh well. Eventually, Westerners will have to integrate or they'll be seen as the enemy of humanity (they kind of are already but the scales aren't even enough for action, and the rest of the world isn't as bloodthirsty to actually enact a Western genocide, I think).
Depends on the work and depends on the hobby. I'd rather have a lazy ICE agent than a motivated one. It's also better to put in more effort into not-for-profit activities like volunteering than in painting figurines or collecting Labubus, for instance, as the former is productive and edifying whilst the latter are not. Wouldn't say it's "bad", but certainly a bit of a waste of time at the very least. And hey, I play videogames, sometimes obsessively so, so it's not like I don't know what I'm talking about or I'm just being unfairly, hypocritically judgmental, it's just what it is.
As a man, I think you can be somewhat fulfilled living a sort of monk-lite ascetic life, although it's not for most. It goes like this, though, for both fulfilment and growth: good company >> no company > bad company. There's no need to give up on getting the first option if you haven't tried in earnest and with adequate knowledge, IMO.
I heard that one before and was even shown an agenda that said "bump salary by X" (might have been a passing thought at some point, lol) but by then I had already made my decision. They're bloodsuckers. 😞
There should definitely be upper limits to how much profit you can make and to how much in assets and savings one can have, after which the excess would be poured back into society. Tbh, usury itself shouldn't be a thing (it used to be a sin 🤷), and with it would go fractional reserve banking and all forms of financialisation. And, of course, nobody is more entitled to the fruits of their labour than the labourers themselves, and the rest should follow from there.
