The dissonance is amazing. There are ads for murcan tourism playing on tv here ( Australia ). The ads depict national parks, playing children, scenes of beauty. Then you see the real murca in these photos. The scenes from ‘Fallout’ are closer to reality than the tv ads. Makes you wonder who they think they’re fooling with the ads. We laugh at them ( the ads, not the murcans) the same way you laugh at old popeye cartoons.

In last couple of days ads have been aired on TV in Australia promoting the disunited states as a fun holiday destination.
