That is the most disheartening part. I didn't build American Hegemony, nor was I victim of it, but damn it if there wasn't a chance we could have collectively come to our senses and practiced what our constitution preaches. There was a path forward to that "Star Trek" future in my eyes.

I will say though, I have used KDE for a very long time. I cant think of any complaints other than that one, and even then, there has been a button to block sleep and screen locking after inactivity for I don't even know how long.
I'm currently losing the fight with my second level (whom supplies our PXE server) about keeping it. They tried setting it up twice since September, the first worked the first time I used it, then never again after that. The second never worked as far as I can tell.
