1·7 days agoIts applied to new users and disabled once we are sure they arent going to spam abuse images. It is aggressive, it does suck that we have to do this. We dont like it either.

We don’t like it either, but we don’t have much choice.
It is to prevent abusive messages from new accounts, and it is a poor solution.
