I came here around the same time too.I remember registering in Mander or so earlier, but didn't about the fediverse and forgot the account.
I still use reddit because of the local communities, but I like lemmy a lot more.
Learnt more about leftism and the general culture seems much better here(Likely due to the size of the communities, the mods and the logs being transparent)
No mute button. I want to see what the pro-Russia people post in the Privacy, Degoogle, and Linux communities, but I don't want to hear their replies when it comes to politics. Actually, maybe there should be a "block only within this community" button.
There should be a "Mute all who mute you(even in other communities)" button to balance this too
The state, as in the structure that enforces the domination of one class over another would cease to exist, but decision making and things would need to happen to keep the post-scarcity maintained, right?
Violence to stop violence seems ok, if it's in a situation where it would work.
Though, nowadays there are some who throw around the word fascist, maybe to muddle the waters or channel hate against people they dislike. I've seen some people claim that the first major socialist experiment was fascist under their Georgian leader. That seems to be misdirection.
What would be its uses?Or what would be the fun things it would use?
I think a local 'AI'-sh thing for grammar correction would be good for non-English folk learning the language.Or maybe one that makes formatting easier? Tho, having regex with some shortcuts may be more efficient there.
Thank you. That's cool
