Soviets opposed it, but Britain and France acted as facilitators and ignored the Soviet call to create a united front against the Nazis.
Well, after seeing how they ganged up on Czechoslovakia like that, it's not surprising that the Soviets chose to not be the odd one out(markes as next target) and signed a non-aggression pact like those other countries.
It did quite well, considering how it rapidly indistrialised their union of states, gave national-level voting rights to women before USAmerica did, fought external and internal sabotage, was waay better than the USAmerica which had racial discrimination on voting till the 1960's etc.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voting_Rights_Act_of_1965
They also were the major force to fight against Nazis.
Maybe get them interested in some useful/simple automation/shortcuts stuff?
Bookmarklets? Easy to start.
I think the best option would be finding their uses/needs and tailoring the approach to that.
If they use excel/Libreoffice, maybe the Record macro option would be good? Or mail merge?Teach them.about the quick access bar and some new shortcuts that would help them?
I think helping them with backing up settings and data would be a good thing too. It'll be a good start, to get them to know the need and importance of backups. Backups could also make them more confident in trying out stuff. Like, knowing that they can come back to the backup if things go wrong.
Thank you
