  • Given the fact that 40k lore goes back to the present day and before that (the emperor as an immortal being exists way before the 21. Century), there's a lot of room between you basically live in the same situation as before (just with a living emperor in your timeline) and you're very much fucked (living in the 41. Millennium)

  • Logitech is European? I feel a lot better now!

  • laughing in European

  • Now I need eyebleach

  • Just in case you didn't know, be aware that Spotify took part in the funding of Trump's presidential campaign. Many in this community dodge it for this reason.

  • I switched as well. Additionally I was only using free gpt, and now have a Mistral subscription. Extra support for a growing EU company and better rates.

  • I'm a QA engineer, but have a DevOps background working with open telecom cloud and hetzner cloud from Germany as well as scaleway from France.

  • Damn I really hope European tech uses this momentum to fight off US monopoles. But I think it will need a European initiative to support European Start-ups.

  • Have you never heard of our Lord and Savior raptor Jesus? I feel old for knowing this meme

  • Framus is awesome. Good thing that my favorite Canadian is also a framus endorsed artist!

  • This picture is going through the net for so long, still German news are trying to convince its readers that there aren't many American products on European supermarket shelves.

  • I'm searching for a source, but I have read that most of his loans, especially a big part of his twitter loan is secured through Tesla. If TSLA falls far enough the banks will order payments and that will make him effectively bankrupt. No matter what his other stocks may be worth.

  • When I worked as an intern in a fancy restaurant I had my workspace in the kitchen below the radio (which was always on when we were prepping). I had braces at the time and the general opinion was, that I was functioning as an extension to the antenna. The radio was only working when I stood at one specific spot (or when I was not present at all).

  • I hope the consequences follow right after he goes bankrupt (looking at the Tesla stock). So he's not only in deep shit but also has no money to bribe him out.

  • Probably. Ai memes are the worst. But that's the only thing I got to follow the rule. I'll be better

  • I agree. I rarely save memes on my phone but I needed to follow the rules. This one was sent to me months back, so this one it is. I'll bring more quality stuff next time.

  • Only commenting on the picture: this guy always looks like he wants to give me candy from his van.

  • I understand what you're saying. Using big ol' American social media, you became dependent to algorithms, that regularly show you similar content that you might be interested in without explicitly requesting it (This is how I found the BuyFromEU sub on reddit that lead me here). The thing is: this is really unhealthy and you're letting a company or network decide what you're interested in. You have to and will get used to it, even if it means you're missing out on things in the beginning. I'm following the suggestion from others and scroll through "all" from time to time, which presented me some cool communities that I follow now. Hang in there!
