Arc Raiders is doing so many things right from the start. The overall package was even at release very well executed, it's an extraction shooter that keeps the tension of the genre while at the same time removing most of the frustrating elements.
While there could be sind improvements to the Speranza UI design, the overall look of the game in game is stunning and it runs really well.
And looking at the number of players - if you release good, entertaining games, people will play them.
Plus the wife is a sober alcoholic (according to her own videos, she did drink a real beer since her husband joined the military), the while situation won't make it easy for her to stay sober. Poor kids.
And I guess there aren't that many countries that might be less suited to move to if you had alcohol problems in your past.
Well, If it wouldn't be Trump I might be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was actually referring to the few people that helped Jews escape or that hid them somewhere.
But in this context ("giving them an extra slice of bread") this doesn't seem to make much sense.
Just look at the military decisions Hitler made, that was luckily an incompetent guy thinking he's smarter than everyone else. That rings a bell, doesn't it?
In the long run, making less stupid decisions wouldn't most likely have changed the outcome, but even more people would likely have died (and unfortunately the people executing the murder of the Jews weren't as incompetent as their glorious leader).
A phone reacting to "ok Google" or the equivalent for the other assistants already requires to listen to what you're saying - doesn't seem to affect battery life all that much.
This strategy might have only worked with the destruction of cities by nuclear weapons in Japan.
The resolve of the German population was not broken by the bombing of civilians. If they wouldn't have hit the military production capabilities and invaded with ground forces the war would have dragged on much longer (and Germany lacked vital resources in their territory, unlike Russia).
So even if your suggestion to bomb the civilians wouldn't be quite reprehensible by itself, it's extremely unlikely that this would end the war on it's own.
Just look at the numbers of soldiers Russia has lost, this didn't seem to faze the support of the general population so far either (families and friends if those who died it who were severely injured).
You also have the option to give up newborns at hospital sites anonymously and safely without any fear of persecution. I would have expected that you would know such a thing if you're smart enough to become a lawyer, this was anything but a rational decision.
The main problem with all the alternatives is for me (as a hobby photographer) the lack of models on these platforms. When looking for models, I find them on Instagram and no other platform. As with WhatsApp the majority of "normal" people have decided to use that, so if I'm telling them to contact me on Signal, they shy away from that (and stillI I refuse to use it as much as possible).
So looking at Signal, it's free and very, very close to WhatsApp and yet still people don't want to use that. Getting them to use pixel fed would be much, much harder.
