That’s a very interesting conclusion you’ve drawn. Surely they will hold up under scrutiny when we read the actual survey papers and apply scientific analysis to them instead of pop science anti intellectual click baiting.

I would also second running a medical panel but FWIW I also just settle into a pattern of 12-14h sleep followed by 20-24hrs awake if left to my own leisure.
I do feel fine averaging 8 hrs/night on a traditional schedule, maybe a little more ideally. I do 5hrs on weekdays and 12-13hrs on weekends.
I know this answer is supremely unhelpful but you really do need a reason to get up and maintain the schedule. For me it’s work, because I am blessed (/s) to be working in the office 13+ hrs/day.
Honestly if it’s not negatively impacting your health or your life, sleep away. Maybe just set an alarm and start your day with a workout at the same time daily so you can “landmark” your day to something?
