  • Plus she's already met with Trump's personal fixer in his new DOJ role, and she saw what happened to Epstein: not sure how whatever she has to say could be more tainted.

  • I had a phone with this and I loved the hell out of it. Could tell at a glace if a notification was for an email, text, or voice call without opening the phone. Could also set a custom color for, say, a text from my wife.

  • Apparently it stems from the days when women had servants who helped them dress, while men generally didn't.

  • Oh, sure, I understand, but yarn is a different story. They don't even have to scratch it to snag it - just takes a claw sticking out a bit, or them making biscuits on it.

  • All of these pics must have been taken in the first ten seconds because there's not a single snag.

  • Looks tasty. What is the pork coated in to get it crispy looking?

  • My respect for him increased a lot when I read that it was his decision to stop playing bond, and his reason was that he didn't think it was right to have such a huge age difference between him and the bond girl actresses.

  • I assumed that because of his wording. People I know don't really "name prices," businesses do. My guess was that it was the businesses that he meant, and since it was responses about businesses that he replied to, I think I was right. But, in case, I answered for regular people, too. Don't know why you have to be shitty about it.

  • I came here to say pretty much the same. With mine, it's an hour to an hour and a half, and the howling is non-stop. It's not a cute meow, either, it's nail on a chalkboard. It's so incredibly annoying.

Other than that, she;s pretty cute.

  • I think becoming desensitized to something and becoming motivated to do it are different. I'm not worried that watching degradation porn will make me want to degrade people, but I'm worried it will make it have less of an impact on me.

  • Intellectually, I agree with you, but personally I feel that we can get jaded to things. Maybe just for me, personally, but I worry that if I watched a lot of porn with someone being degraded, degradation would have less impact on me, and I don't want that to happen. Another aspect, though, is that watching someone being degraded makes me feel shitty, not horny.

  • I think that's because the stations already pay the tax when they buy from suppliers, but wholesalers don't do this. I could be wrong.

  • I guess it’s not the top of mind problem Americans have right now.

    You've got that right!

  • Sure, sounds nice. But is it bad enough that people feel compelled to create a ballot measure and get it changed? Apparently not.

  • Totally normal to be curious/interested in porn. First thing I'd say is to think about what you're watching: does it seem like a healthy thing between two or more people, or is someone being abused or degraded? It's easy to watch a bunch of stuff and get an impression that what you're seeing is normal, but porn caters to various proclivities and they aren't all healthy.

I don't know what to advise about replacing it. You likely have a normal sex drive with no outlet, and expecting yourself to not be horny is probably unreasonable. Fantasy/masturbation without porn might be more reasonable.

Might be worth asking yourself what about it makes you feel bad.

  • It's certainly for the store's benefit, not the consumer's, but you're over stating things. Sure, there's no incentive for the store too post anything other than the price they charge, and not the state and federal charges the government layers on top of that. There's no law requiring them to do so, and obviously they'd rather post the smaller price. We could change that by making it a law, but no one really seems to care that much - just doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

  • When you say "people" you're really talking about the stores, right? The stores just put the price they charge, not the taxes which they don't get. Yes, taxes vary from state to state, but it's not like we're all going to different states every day. I know what the tax rate is in my area, and so I know to add that when I see a price in a store.

If you really mean "people" as in customers, it depends. If I'm telling someone that a store has a good price, I'll just quote the store's price. But sometimes when I'm talking about what I paid, I'll include everything "Wow, I can't believe this cart of groceries was $150..."

  • I know I'm old because all I can think of is how heavy that would be in the wash machine.
