I've noticed Mullvad advertising a lot in London on billboards, tube station platforms and sides of buses. Not saying it's a bad thing just that I noticed it, they must have really ramped up spending on marketing.
Recently booted Windows to install a BIOS update with a Windows only installer and realised it had been about a year since last boot. Think it may be time to reclaim that space.
They can! In fact, in the UK some government services do this already however there's a couple of drawbacks:

For us at least the NFC chip still contains a digital copy of the photo so it's not really any better since I don't know what data is going to be sent by the app.
