  • Viele "niedrige" Millionäre wissen vermutlich vor allen, daß sie a) gar nicht mit superreich gemeint sind, und b) dass immernoch mehr als genug übrig bliebe selbst wenn es sie betrifft.

  • I don't deny the possibility, but that sounds like a lot of foresight which I'm not ready to attribute to Trump or his team. Additionally I don't think they care about "the people". The voters served their purpose. They are meaningless to them now. They will continue to produce anger and outrage, and will extract as much money as possible while it's still possible.

    I think it's a simple money grab. Just not a $25 billion one.

  • $25 billion, in paper. The value will be down to zero way before he manages to sell off even $1 billion from it. And thats a generous guess. Meme coins don't retain value.

    Making ANY money this way is outrageous, but we sooner solve world peace and world hunger than Trump being able to sell this off for the current paper value.

  • It's more complicated because there's also time limited (or even unlimited) tickets/passes, but I agree it could be done.

    Seat reservations expire 15 minutes after passing the station. By now all trains have those small displays on the seats which show reservations. They simply turn off after 15 minutes, indicating the seat can be taken by anyone.

  • The seat (more comfortable, more space) ist the main difference.

    Of course they could check if you have a ticket at the time of purchase, they just don't. When buying a seat reservation it's clear it's not a ticket.

  • Er hat es irgendwie geschafft, trotz absoluter Ahnungslosigkeit bezüglich des Mediums nicht wie ein Boomer rüberzukommen. Seine Aussagen wirkten ehrlich und seine Fragen interessiert.

    Einerseits denke ich, dass er schon ein Briefing bekommen hat was Twitch ist und wie es grob funktioniert.

    Andererseits hilft es einfach enorm wenn man offen für Neues und interessiert ist, und dabei höflich bleibt. Das würde jedem Politiker helfen besser nicht wie der letzte Pfosten rüberzukommen. Manche müssen sich dafür halt verstellen, während Habeck von sich aus so ist.

    Du solltest dich trotzdem nicht fertig machen. Wir reagieren in plötzlich auftretenden Stresssituationen oft nicht so wie wir es gern würden. Das belastet dich jetzt retrospekt, ist aber menschlich. Verzeih dir selbst und das nächste Mal reagierst du vielleicht anders.

  • Trennung zwischen Fahrer und Passagieren, spanisch, gar kein bis wenig Englisch,... ist das in Mexiko passiert?

    Wenn ja: selbst wenn du dem Fahrer zu verstehen gegeben hättest was du gesehen hast, der hätte ganz sicher nicht angehalten. Eher hätte er noch einen Zahn zugelegt. Es gibt leider Ecken in dieser Welt wo das richtig und wichtig ist, und es war möglicherweise besser, dass du nichts getan hast.

  • It sure is complaining on a high level. But not complaining would mean to accept it.

    It's also symptomatic for all the other deteriorating infrastructure and services (streets, bridges, power lines, non existing high speed internet, schools / equipment, public agencies, and so on and so on). All due to cost cutting, while at the same time taxes and prices increased. Those 16 years of Merkel (conservatives) ruined so much and left us completely unprepared for modern problems. And now the same geniuses blame the greens for not fixing it all in three and a half years.
