  • Boah endlich! Ich hab voll lange auf diese Chance gewartet. Ich hab ja immer schon vermutet, dass mit dem Patriarchat was nicht stimmt, aber bisher war das nur so ein indifferentes Bauchgefühl. I don’t think they are a good source for disinformation free news. A credible source needs to be transparent about where the money comes from.

    Und was machen diese Unternehmen? Sind die gemeinnützig? Nein? Generieren die vielleicht aufgrund der Arbeitsleistung der Angestellten Profit für den Unternehmenseigner? Dann muss man die vielleicht besteuern. Grundstücke werden schließlich auch besteuert, selbst wenn die keinen Profit erwirtschaften. Die sind auch kein „frei Verfügbares“ Vermögen.

  • Imho a big problem in this context is this: There is a mix of people using antisemitic dogwhistles and metaphors without knowing it an people hiding behind this as an excuse to be as antisemitic as they want without repercussions. (Which, as I think of it, is the definition of „dogwhistle“)

    If someone tell‘s you you were using a dogwhistle, accept, apologise and rephrase. Not because you did something bad on purpose, but because you gave intentional „dogwhistlers“ another innocent-mistake-example to hide behind.

  • Implying that Israel (which also oftentimes is used to say „the JEWS“ without sounding too antisemitic) is controlling foreign Governments is no antisemitic dogwhistle. That’s absolut classic „Protocols of the Elders of Zion“- level-antisemitism. The probably most famous iteration be the Judeo–Bolshevism.

  • This could be a language problem. In my mother tongue a vegetarian still consumes dairy products and eggs and maybe wears leather. And If you drink milk, eat cheese/yoghurt/butter, your ok with killing animals. A cow needs a calf to give milk, and the calves are being slaughtered because a dairy farm has not the space to keep them around.

  • That does not make sense. Vegans teaming up with vegetarians may make a bit more sense, but even in this is not plausible because vegetarians are ok with killing animals, they are just not ok with eating them.

Schon das Zusammenfassen von Menschen in Gruppen wie „die Arbeitslosen“ ist ein erster Schritt in Richtung Entmenschlichung.

    Jedes „Wir“ gegen „Die“ senkt die Hemmschwellen im Umgang miteinander und schafft generell Raum für die Möglichkeit gewalttätig zu werden.
