  • Isn’t the postal service a wierd grey area tho? I’ll look it up but I think they’re not a government department they’re a privately held company but answer to the government at the same time. I wanna say it’s something fucked up like that where they’re a one of a kind operation. I’ll edit after I get back from the rabbit hole.

Edit: Oh shit it is wild. Paraphrased from wikipedia: USPS is ran by 11 appointed officials by the president. The postmaster, his #2, then 9 governors chosen by president and approved by senate for 7 year terms. The USPS recieves $0 of taxpayer revenue. All financing is done by USPS produced revenue. The problem is the USPS has reported almost $70billion in losses between 2008-2018.

So they are an independently financed government branch answering to a board of elected officials appointed by the President and Senate. Fuck that sounds like a waaaaaaaay more efficient operation than tax funded government programs. Like health care. It’s could be adapted into a revenue producing independently financed industry answering to a a board of elected officials. I know i digress but am I crazy?

I wanna keep an eye on this now to see how federal budget precedents apply to an independently financed program. Do the board of elected officials have any cards at play? I know there are issues with the USPS but as a whole it has operated as efficient and effective as a privately held company subject to the laws of the open market compared to any other government ran program or department. What I mean is, if the operations of rhe USPS are controlled by this postmaster boardroom, are they compensated by salary/stocks/profit sharing? Might have to dive deeper down the rabbit hole, brb.

  • Sounds very similar to the shit ive gone thru.

Get your thyroid levels tested. Can’t remember if its hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism but one of them has symptoms that are very similar to depression. Low energy, tired, lack of motivation, feeling drained. It took a long time to get myself on the right medication but the biggest break thru in that time was getting my thyroid levels straightened out. Most of that time was spent with professionals who thought I was suffering from depression.

Id recommend seeing someone that specializes in ADHD and all the other comorbidity disorders. As well as asking your primary for a script to test your thyroid levels.

  • Isn’t that contingent on a person’s parameters for what they consider humane? Good and evil are subjective concepts that will never be objective. Wouldn’t you agree the definition for what you are calling humanitarian department is constantly evolving? For example, it was considered humane to designate women as the caretaker and men as the provider but now the idea of taking away a man or women’s option for how they want to build their family’s framework is inhumane as fuck. Also I’m not implying anything about a family being between a man and women or any gender related shit. I simply mean to include the full range of our species’ sexes.

Edit for further context: what i mean is that the fault doesn’t always point to historic records omitting truths to fit a narrative. There are plenty of examples of the records being accurate, but societal parameters for what is considered humane or inhumane is what evolved.

  • Fuckin fat people. It’s so fucking offensive to me when fat fucks think their laziness is comparable to legit chronic disabilities.

Oh no! You got type 2 diabetes for being so fucking fat and lazy?! Please tell me how that is on par with my type 1 diabetes and the hypoglycemic seizures it causes anytime the amount of carbohydrates I think is in any prepared food and is less than the actual amount of carbs in the food.

Oh your type 2 diabetes will go away if you weren’t so fucking fat?!? Please tell me how that is worse than taking 4-8 injections of insulin every day for the rest of my fucking life.

    Fuck fat people.

  • Have more info in the parent comment i left but to give you empirical scenarios for two fences not back to back: neighbor A put in pool before neighbor B put up fence. A’s pool fence was done to look good around pool while B’s fence installed later was done by contractor instructed to fence the perimeter.

One fence was installed diy based on an mutually implied property line. New neighbor moves in to house without fence and installs their fence to actual surveyed property line.
