  • The right answer.

  • How about fuck all that nasty ass processed crap? Or is it only wrong when the Americans do it?

  • Are there any European companies that make backpacks as well as Tom Bihn and Red Oxx?

  • You don't appear to have much in the way of human empathy if you think that caution in bringing a new life into the world is the problem here. I would argue that the lack of caution, foresight and consideration is what leaves us vulnerable and a large part as to why it is so easy for a global oligarchy to take advantage of the bulk of humanity, no matter where we are.

  • Retirement homes are full of parents whose children either actively despise them or simply do not have the means to take care of them.

Besides that, having a child just so you have somebody to emotionally leech off as you age is bordering on evil.

  • A link to a reddit post? What was the point of lemmy, someone remind me...

  • Unlike fiat currencies most of the credible cryptocurrencies have increased in value over the past 10 years.

  • So GNU Linux?

    Oh wait.

  • vim ftw.

  • Just like Teslas being shitty cars, Red Bull is a crappy beverage. There was never a good reason to drink this junk.

  • I did indeed. Kept using it for as long as I could until I was compelled to switch to Android/iOS. I dislike them both but Android is the lesser of two evils.

  • Physical keyboard. Debian Linux for mobile. It's still my favorite smartphone ever.

  • I've done this for years with people in my family - either Ubuntu or Linux Mint. All most of them use is the browser, word processor, spreadsheets and an image and media viewer.

For Desktop Environment I stick to KDE or something that looks and acts similar to Windows XP.

    I get very few complaints.

  • RIP maemo. Nokia really messed that up.

  • Most people just want something that works and isn't cluttered.

I might spend 30 minutes after a distro install getting things right, once I have it set up I don't tinker with it much.

  • Teslas have always been crappy cars but it took his involvement in politics for people to realize. Truly amazing.
