Too close to home.
It isn’t an interesting phenomenon, it’s just wrong. Gym goers are no more stupid than the bulk of humanity.
Good luck with bringing about change.
But it was okay for OP to dismiss male gym goers as being stupid based on one coversation. Interesting logic that.
I don’t go to the gym or fly to socialize. Me wearing headphones shouldn’t perturb you as much as it appears to, no matter how much you protest that it doesn’t. You wrote a lot of words for one who doesn’t care.
Why does my perspective upset you so much? Are you one of the morons having loud, senseless conversations in public?
I learned a long time ago that I need to wear headphones in the gym, on planes and on trains. Human beings in general are pretty fucking stupid, it’s not limited to the gym or to men.
Developers have been using Linux for a while. There are tools for CAD and video production too.
People are still falling for this schtick?
It’s easier to play my favorite Windows games on the Steam Deck than on a Switch.

If you need to ask…
What does DeepSeek tell you about the current economic climate in China?
I agree with your last comment but there are people who get very upset when you say it out loud and when you ask them why they get especially angry.
Besides the odd biro, never once did I ever use company merch outside of an office. Definitely never used the shitty backpacks or laptop bags. Those got donated to Goodwill.
I hear you but it’s a nice tool to organize and edit metadata.
Their choice of topics is wonderful. The manner in which they tackle them is less so.
I prefer something a bit more serious, without all the side tracks and filler, similar to the professional journalistic approach exemplified by the ESPN or American Scandal podcasts.
I hate podcasts where the advertised subject is interesting but the host/narrator has to go off on a nonsensical tangent with their cohosts every 30 seconds (I’m looking at you Behind The Bastards).
Europe and America are two peas in a pod, with the only difference being that European nations no longer have the military advantage to impose their will as they did in the past.
